    Abstract: A communication technique and a system thereof that fuse a 5th generation (5G) communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate in a beyond 4th generation (4G) system to internet of things (IoT) technology are provided. The communication technique and a system thereof may be applied to an intelligent service (e.g., smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail business, security and safety related service) based on 5G communication technology and IoT related technology. Further, a beamforming antenna assembly including a metal structure and particularly, a beamforming antenna assembly that can minimize a communication distortion of a beamforming antenna due to an influence of a metal is provided.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a fifth generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system supporting higher data rates after a fourth generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). A module in a wireless communication system is provided. The module includes a plurality of antenna elements, an antenna substrate coupled to the plurality of antenna elements, a metal plate coupled to the antenna substrate, a calibration substrate coupled to a Radio Frequency (RF) component on a first face, and a conductive adhesive material for electrical coupling between the metal plate and the calibration substrate. The conductive adhesive material may be coupled to the calibration substrate on a second face different from the first face of the calibration substrate. The conductive adhesive material may include an air gap formed along a signal line included in the calibration substrate.

According to embodiments of the disclosure, an antenna module in a wireless communication system may include: a plurality of antenna elements; a first antenna substrate; a second antenna substrate; and a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). A first side of the first antenna substrate may be coupled to each of the plurality of antenna elements, and a second side of the first antenna substrate opposite to the first side of the first antenna substrate may be coupled to the PCB. A first side of the second antenna substrate may be coupled to each of the plurality of antenna elements, and a second side of the second antenna substrate opposite to the first side of the second antenna substrate may be coupled to the PCB. A face between the first side of the first antenna substrate and the second side of the first antenna substrate may face a face between the first side of the second antenna substrate and the second side of the second antenna substrate.
