Abstract:
An image generation apparatus includes an arithmetic processing unit that generates an ultrasonic image based on a received signal obtained by receiving a reflected wave from a subject of an ultrasonic wave incident on the subject. The arithmetic processing unit calculates an attenuation feature value at each position in an incidence direction of the ultrasonic wave based on the received signal, performs signal processing on the attenuation feature value at each position in the incidence direction, and generates an attenuation feature image using the attenuation feature value subjected to the signal processing.
Abstract:
An ultrasonic measurement apparatus extracts, from a reception signal, a plurality of partial reception signals according to overlap periods that are set by shifting the time so as to overlap partially. Then, scattering attenuation correction using a scattering attenuation correction value is performed for a frequency domain signal obtained by performing a Fourier transform of each of the plurality of partial reception signals, and an inverse Fourier transform of a corrected frequency correction signal is performed. Then, partial correction signals corresponding to the respective partial reception signals are obtained by performing an inverse Fourier transform. Then, a signal obtained by combining the partial correction signals is set as a reception correction signal after correcting the reception signal. The scattering attenuation correction value is calculated from the signal strength of incident ultrasonic waves and a sum value of the signal strength of the reception signal at each time.
Abstract:
An ultrasonic measurement apparatus includes a reception processing unit, a harmonic processing unit, a signal processing unit and an image generation unit. The reception processing unit is configured to receive, as a received signal, an ultrasonic echo corresponding to an ultrasonic wave transmitted toward a subject. The harmonic processing unit is configured to extract a harmonic component of the ultrasonic echo from the received signal. The signal processing unit is configured to add a weighting to the harmonic component by using a weight that varies depending on a value of the harmonic component. The image generation unit is configured to generate an image based on a signal to which the weighting has been added.
