摘要: In a transcatheter treatment support technique using a combination of a guide wire equipped with a photoacoustic technique and an ultrasonic imaging device, the ultrasonic imaging device estimates a front edge position of the guide wire using a difference between arrival times of photoacoustic waves arriving at an array of elements configuring an ultrasonic probe or a change of an image of the photoacoustic generation source, which depends on a distance of the photoacoustic generation source from an imaging region, and grasps a relationship between an imaging position and the front edge position of the guide wire using the estimation result. This enables visually grasping a relationship between a region (imaging region) from which an image is able to be obtained with reflective waves from a biological body with use of the ultrasonic probe and an insertion object present outside the region, particularly, the front edge of the guide wire.

The portable teleoperation hand-held device includes a housing, a velocity collection module disposed on the housing, an angular velocity collection module disposed on the housing, a force collection module disposed on the housing, a data processing module disposed on the housing, a pressing module disposed on the housing, and a force feedback module disposed on the housing. The velocity collection module, the angular velocity collection module, and the force collection module may be all connected to the data processing module, and respectively sends the velocity information of the hand-held device moving on the working surface, the angular velocity information of the hand-held device rotating in space, and the pressing force of the hand-held device to the data processing module, to realize a remote control of the sub-terminal scanning examination robot.

摘要: An ultrasound probe hanger includes a stem, shoulders, arms, and a probe holder. The shoulders are arranged generally perpendicular to the stem and are connected to a proximal end of the stem. The arms are arranged generally parallel to each other and to the stem. The arms are connected at upper ends to outer shoulder ends of the shoulders. The probe holder includes outer side portions, a rear portion, a partially open front portion, and four protrusions. The outer side portions are each connected to lower ends of the arms. The rear portion extends between the outer side portions. The partially-open front portion includes outer front portions each extending from the outer side portions and defining a central front open portion. The four protrusions are arranged in a rectangle on an inside surface of the probe holder and are configured to suspend a wireless ultrasound probe within the probe holder.

摘要: A method includes emitting an ultrasound beam, having a predefined field of view (FOV), from an array of ultrasound transducers in a catheter in an organ of a patient. Echo signals are received in the array, in response to the ultrasound beam. A position of a target object is estimated within the FOV. When the estimated position of the target object violates a centering condition, the FOV of the ultrasound beam is automatically modified to re-meet the centering condition.

摘要: A robotic device for a minimally invasive medical intervention on soft tissues is provided. The robotic device uses a medical instrument having a robot arm having several degrees of freedom and having an end suitable for receiving the medical instrument, an image capture system suitable for capturing position information concerning the anatomy of the patient, a storage medium having a biomechanical model of the human body, a processing circuit configured to determine a position setpoint and an orientation setpoint for said medical instrument on the basis of the biomechanical model, on the basis of the position information and on the basis of a trajectory to be followed by the medical instrument in order to perform the medical intervention, and a control circuit configured to control the robot arm in order to place the medical instrument in the position setpoint and the orientation setpoint.

摘要: Systems and methods for introducing and driving flexible members in a patient's body are described herein. In one embodiment, a robotic method includes positioning a flexible elongated member that has a preformed configuration, wherein at least a part of the flexible elongated member has a first member disposed around it, and wherein the first member includes a first wire for bending the first member or for maintaining the first member in a bent configuration, releasing at least some tension in the first wire to relax the first member, and advancing the first member distally relative to the flexible elongated member while the first member is in a relaxed configuration.
