摘要: The method reduces vibrations generated in a contactor due to movement of the moving body by which the contactor contacts with a moving body. When a stroke of vibration of the contactor is halved at an intermediate point of an amplitude thereof, the vibrations are made different from each other in frequency between the reciprocation stroke in the forward side which corresponds to one of the halved stroke portions and the reciprocation stroke in the backward side which corresponds to the other halved stroke portion.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes: medium transporting belt that carried an image recording medium on its surface, and is driven so that the surface is circulatively turned; a plural number of toner image forming drums facing the transporting belt, each including an image bearing surface having an electrostatic latent image formed thereon, a developing unit for developing the electrostatic latent image into a toner image, and an image transferring unit for transferring the toner image on the transporting belt or an image recording medium held on the transporting belt; medium supplying trays and path for successively supplying image recording media to the transporting belt; a medium attracting electrode facing the transporting belt; a counter electrode opposing to the medium attracting electrode with respect to the medium attracting electrode; an electric field formed between the medium attracting and counter electrodes to cause the transporting belt to attract the image recording medium to the transporting belt; and control unit that controls voltage applied from a power source between the medium attracting and counter electrodes so that electric field developed therebetween when the image recording medium is not interposed therebetween is weaker than an electric field developed therebetween when the image recording medium is interposed therebetween, and has such a direction as to cause the transporting belt to attract the toner to the transporting belt.

摘要: An optical path changing member is assembled at ends of optical fibers and placed to face a substrate including an optical input/output terminal having optical axes inclined with respect to optical axes of the ends. The optical path changing member is made of a transparent material and includes a member body having a reflection surface for optically connecting the ends to the optical input/output terminal. The member body has optical fiber insertion holes and an end placement portion to which the insertion holes are open and in which the end faces of the optical fibers are placed. The reflection surface is formed so that light entering from the end faces of the optical fibers into the member body will be internally reflected toward the optical input/output terminal in the member body. The end placement portion is filled with an adhesive by which the ends are fixed to the member body.

摘要: There is provided a shutdown controller that monitors the temperature of an optical multiplexer and maximizes the loss of an optical attenuator when a temperature monitor result is abnormal. An optical level change detection circuit section is disposed with respect to an optical level monitor of individual monitors in an optical add/drop multiplexer. An optical level monitor of a total main signal is disposed downstream of the optical multiplexer. The inconsistency of the wavelength number is detected by comparing the total of the optical level monitors of the individual channels with the optical level value of the optical level monitor, upon which shutdown control is performed in which the loss of the optical attenuator is maximized in only the channel whose optical level change is detected by the optical level change detection circuit section.

摘要: An IOT controller of an image formation device is provided with an NvRAM. Correction coefficients relating to various parameters, which are specified for each of paper types in advance, are stored in the NvRAM. The NvRAM is provided with a user setting region, and when it is desired to form an image at an unusual paper, parameters of this paper can be inputted by operation of a control panel. When image formation is to be implemented, the IOT controller, after selection of a paper type at the control panel, reads out correction coefficients of the parameters relating to the selected paper type from the NvRAM, implements transfer processing in accordance with these correction coefficients, and forms a high-quality image.
