摘要: According to an aspect, a wireless device receives a DCI configuration for a first set of DCI formats, each DCI of the first set of DCI formats having a same size measured as a number of bits. The wireless device receives a DCI configuration for a second set of DCI formats wherein the second set is different from the first set. The wireless device detects a first DCI from the first set of DCI formats and a second DCI from the second set of DCI formats based on the first DCI having a different size to the second DCI and the second DCI comprising at least one padding bit. According to another aspect a base station configures a wireless device with at least one DCI format from a first set of DCI formats wherein each DCI of the first set of DCI formats having a same size measured as a number of bits, and at least one DCI format from a second set of DCI formats wherein the second set is different from the first set and wherein the first DCI having a different size to the second DCI and the second DCI comprising at least one padding bit.

With these procedures, consistent and exact DCI size matching can be performed while keeping blind decoding procedures manageable, ensuring common understanding of DCI contents between the UE and the network.

摘要: The embodiments herein relate to time domain resource allocation for PUSCH transmission. In one embodiment, there proposes a method in a wireless communication device for Random Access (RA), comprising: transmitting a preamble on Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH); receiving a Random Access Response (RAR) message; transmitting, on Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH), a message for terminal identification (Msg3), wherein the time resource allocation of Msg3 is different than the time resource allocation of other message to be transmitted on the PUSCH (normal PUSCH). The embodiments herein can support flexible time resource allocation configuration for Msg3, and at the same time, the signaling overhead in RAR/DCI for indicating the time resource allocation of PUSCH carrying Msg3 can be reduced.

摘要: A system and method for providing time domain allocations in a communication system. In an embodiment, an apparatus operable in a communication system and including processing circuitry is configured to receive an indication of a time domain allocation in downlink control information associated with a radio network temporary identifier (“RNTI”) identifying the apparatus, and employ the time domain allocation associated with the RNTI for transmissions associated with the apparatus. In another embodiment, an apparatus operable in a communication system and including processing circuitry is configured to associate a time domain allocation with a RNTI identifying a user equipment, and provide an indication of the time domain allocation in downlink control information to allow the user equipment to employ the time domain allocation associated with the RNTI for transmissions associated therewith.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for handling a limited set of Path Loss Reference Signals (PL-RSs). In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication device comprises determining a subset of a set of activated uplink (UL) transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states or activated joint or downlink (DL) TCI states for the wireless communication device for which the wireless communication device is to monitor associated pathloss reference signals. The method further comprises monitoring the pathloss reference signals for the subset of the set of activated UL TCI states or activated joint or DL TCI states. In this manner, the wireless communication device is enabled to have a well-defined framework for how to handle uplink output power when the network indicates a switch to a new UL state or new joint or DL TCI state for which the UE is not monitoring a pathloss reference signal.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless device comprises receiving Downlink Control Information (DCI) that schedules Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) repetitions to Transmission/Reception Points (TRPs) where the PUSCH is configured with a maximum rank larger than 2. The DCI comprises an antenna ports field that indicates two or more Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) ports and either: a single PTRS-DMRS association field or two PTRS-DMRS association fields. The method further comprises determining a DMRS port associated with a Phase Tracking Reference Signal (PTRS) port for PUSCH transmissions to a first TRP based on either a most significant bit (MSB) of the single PTRS-DMRS association field or the first PTRS-DMRS association field and determining a DMRS port associated with a PTRS port for PUSCH transmissions to a second TRP based on either a least significant bit (LSB) of the single PTRS-DMRS association field or the second PTRS-DMRS association field.

摘要: A method performed by a wireless device for determining a start symbol of a plurality of PDSCH transmission occasions using a relative reference symbol includes: receiving an indication that includes indications: that enable/disable the use of the relative reference symbol; the offset between the last symbol of a first PDSCH and the first symbol of a second PDSCH; that there are multiple PDSCH transmission occasions; and that a symbol of the first transmission occasion and length corresponding to all transmission occasions; and determining the symbol at which each of the plurality of PDSCH transmission occasions end which will be used to determine the start symbol of the next PDSCH transmission occasion. In this way, the wireless device behavior is defined on how many PDSCH repetitions the wireless device can receive when the use of the new relative reference for the starting symbol of the first PDSCH repetition is enabled.
