    摘要: An image processing apparatus classifies a variation of a target object included in an image from a specific state as one of a plurality of types of attributes, and holds, for each variation attribute, a correction parameter for spatial transformation that corrects the target object to the specific state. The image processing apparatus generates an input image vector by vectorizing at least a partial region of the input image, and determines a variation attribute by detecting a variation of the target object from the specific state in the input image. Then, the image processing apparatus generates a transformed image vector by performing the spatial transformation on the input image vector, using a correction parameter selected based on the determined variation attribute from among the correction parameters held for respective variation attributes.

    摘要: An image processing method is provided for an image processing apparatus which executes processing by allocating a plurality of weak discriminators to form a tree structure having branches corresponding to types of objects so as to detect objects included in image data. Each weak discriminator calculates a feature amount to be used in a calculation of an evaluation value of the image data, and discriminates whether or not the object is included in the image data by using the evaluation value. The weak discriminator allocated to a branch point in the tree structure further selects a branch destination using at least some of the feature amounts calculated by weak discriminators included in each branch destination.

    摘要: Disclosed is a ceramic or metal single-crystal material having high-density dislocations arranged one-dimensionally on respective straight lines. The single-crystal material is produced by compressing a ceramic or metal single-crystal blank at a high temperature from a direction allowing the activation of a single slip to induce plastic deformation therein, and then subjecting the resulting product to a heat treatment. The single-crystal material can be used in a device for high-speed dislocation-pipe diffusion of ions or electrons. The single-crystal material can further be subjected to a diffusion treatment so as to diffuse a metal element from its surface along the dislocations to provide a single-crystal device with a specific electrical conductivity or a quantum wire device. Otherwise, the single-crystal material can be subjected to annealing or chemical etching so as to form nano-holes along the high-density dislocations to provide a thin film device, such as a molecular sieve film or a carbon-dioxide separating film.
