摘要： A disk drive comprising a guide member configured to guide a strip-shaped flexible wiring board, wherein the strip-shaped flexible wiring board has one end attached to a side portion of a carriage that is rotatably supported, in such a way that another end thereof is oriented toward a mounting position. A U-shaped component of the guide member comprises a pair of edge components and is formed into a U-shape, wherein the U-shaped component is inserted between two projecting components comprising a front-side projecting component and a rear-side projecting component which are arranged to a front and a rear portion of the carriage respectively and are provided on a side portion of the carriage, and the pair of edge components come into contact with the two projecting components, respectively, wherein the U-shaped components is elastically deformed in such a way that the pair of edge components come closer together.

摘要： An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: a transmitting section for driving a probe to send out ultrasonic waves toward a subject one after another; a receiving section for getting an echo, produced as a result of reflection of each ultrasonic wave from the subject, received by the probe, thereby generating a received signal; a tissue tracking section for generating position tracking waveforms, each representing the positional displacement of an associated one of measuring points on the subject, based on the received signals; a boundary detecting section for determining the boundary location of the subject's tissue; a tracking waveform choosing section for choosing at least two position tracking waveforms, including the one associated with the boundary, from the position tracking waveforms by reference to at least one of the waveforms associated with the measuring points, the location of the boundary, and the amplitudes of the received signals; and a tissue attribute value calculating section for calculating a tissue attribute value of the subject using the position tracking waveforms chosen.

摘要： To reduce cost of chemical by reducing quantity of foaming agent used when removing unburned carbon in fly ash with wet floatation and to prevent decrease in activity index of the fly ash. In wet decarburization of fly ash, the solution comprising the steps of: adding water to fly ash to generate slurry; adding hydrophobizing agent and foaming agent to the slurry and agitating them to generate bubbles; and adhering unburned carbon in the fly ash to the bubbles to float them to remove the unburned carbon in the fly ash, when sedimentation component at wet floatation separation is solid-liquid separated and liquid phase obtained by solid-liquid separation is reused for another floatation separation for new fly ash, the quantity of foaming agent added to the slurry is adjusted such that concentration of the foaming agent in liquid phase is in a predetermined range. When adjusting the concentration of the foaming agent in the liquid phase, it is possible to measure COD concentration in the liquid phase and adjust the quantity of the foaming agent added to the slurry in such a manner that the COD concentration is in a predetermined range.

The disk drive includes: a head for accessing a data recording area of a disk; an actuator for pivoting to move the head; a voice coil motor; and, a latch configured to lock the actuator from pivoting toward the data recording area in response to an external force. The voice-coil motor includes a voice coil, a magnet, and a yoke. The latch is positioned at a closed position when the actuator is positioned at a stand-by position, and is configured to pivot by application of a magnetic bias force with pivoting of the actuator from the stand-by position into proximity with the data recording area such that the latch is configured to stop at an open position. The yoke includes a protrusion which protrudes toward the magnetic body at the open position.
