摘要: An optical storage medium comprising a recording layer containing organic dye molecules which allows recording due to change in the molecular structure or molecular aggregate structure induced by irradiation with light, and a stable controlling layer formed on the recording layer, which controlling layer is stable against the irradiation by the lights for recording or reading out. A multi-frequency optical storage medium comprises a plurality of a combination of the recording layers and the controlling layer as a separating layer.

摘要: A composition for absorption refrigeration which comprises a fluorinated hydrocarbon refrigerant, an amide or glycol ether solvent serving as an absorption liquid, and a phosphite stabilizer. The stabilizer is used in an amount of 0.05 to 0.5 wt % of the absorption liquid calculated as phosphorus, within which range the phosphite stabilizer can suitably protect the refrigerant and the absorption liquid from deteriorating and decomposing at high operation temperatures.

摘要: In a safety system for an elevator, slip detection means detects a slip between a drive sheave and a main rope. A safety gear is mounted to a car, the safety gear being electrically operated by an actuator to cause the car to make an emergency stop regardless of whether a running direction of the car is upward or downward. A safety gear controller cuts power supply to a hoisting machine motor and causes the safety gear to make a braking operation upon detection of the slip between the drive sheave and the main rope by the slip detection means.

摘要: An elevator system in which a controller monitors whether or not a speed of an ascending/descending body reaches a preset overspeed. At a time of maintenance work, a stopper is interposed between a buffer and the ascending/descending body to limit a lowered position of the ascending/descending body. A stopper detector detects installation of the stopper onto at least one of the buffer and the ascending/descending body. When the stopper is detected by the stopper detector, the controller lowers a set value of the overspeed.

摘要: In an elevator apparatus, a main rope suspending a car and a balance weight is looped around a traction sheave and a driven sheave of a traction machine. A driving-side speed detecting portion for detecting rotational speed of the traction sheave and a driven-side speed detecting portion for detecting rotational speed of the driven sheave are electrically connected to an operation control device. The operation control device includes a determination portion determining presence or absence of an abnormality in an elevator by calculating speed difference between rotational speeds of the traction sheave and comparing the speed difference to a fixed reference value, set in advance, and a control portion for controlling the operation of the elevator based on information from the determination portion.

摘要: In a rope supporting apparatus for an elevator, a column-like body along a guide rail provided within a hoist way is mounted on the guide rail through support bodies located at upper and lower ends of the guide rail. A rope end fixing member to which an end of a rope is fixed is fastened to the column-like body. The column-like body has a higher bending strength than the guide rail. Since the support bodies at both upper and lower ends of the column-like body are disposed with a sufficient distance between them, a pivoting reactive force, which is a load generated in the support bodies in a direction perpendicular to a center axis of the rail, becomes small, and any bending moment applied to the guide rail by the pivoting reactive force is smaller than the bending moment applied to the column-like body.
