    摘要: This invention relates to improvements in a vertical deflection circuit employing a class D amplifier. The circuit comprises a pulse width modulator for converting a sawtooth waveform signal to a width modulated pulse train, a switch mode power amplifier for amplifying said width modulated pulse train, a demodulating filter circuit for demodulating said width modulated pulse train to the sawtooth waveform, a damping circuit for preventing a significant power loss in said demodulating filter circuit and a deflection yoke coupled to said demodulating filter circuit, thereby making it possible to reduce power dissipation in the circuit.

    摘要: An instruction acquisition unit acquires a menu display instruction in a menu screen display device. When the menu display instruction is acquired while a game program is running, a menu-screen generating unit displays, by a function of a system, on a television set a second system menu screen in which an end icon for terminating the running game program is inserted in between a plurality of content icons that are arranged in a line in a first system menu screen and displayed. The instruction acquisition unit acquires the selection of the displayed end icon from a user. When the selection of the end icon is acquired, a menu screen constituting unit terminates the running game program and displays on the television set a first system menu screen by deleting the end icon from the second system menu screen.

    摘要: The present multi-processor system performs information processing suitably. The system can receive, reproduce and record a variety of image contents. By comprising a powerful CPU in the multi-processors, a plurality of pieces of large image data, such as high definition image data or the like, can be processed simultaneously in parallel, which was difficult conventionally. Since task processing, such as demodulation processing or the like, is assigned respectively in view of the remaining processing capacity of each of the plurality of processors, the system can reproduce contents efficiently. By sharing roles, a plurality of different contents, such as an image, a voice, or the like can be processed simultaneously and can be displayed or reproduced at a desired timing.
