摘要： A color filter of the present invention includes a large number of colored layers of a plurality of colors regularly arranged together. The color filter is such that xWH−0.05≦xB≦xWH+0.05 and yWH−0.05≦yB≦yWH+0.05 or xWH−0.10≦xB≦xWH and yWH−0.10≦yB≦yWH is satisfied, where (xWH, yWH) is the chromaticity in the CIE 1931 chromaticity diagram when the filter alone is irradiated with light to produce a white display, and (xB, yB) is the chromaticity in the CIE 1931 chromaticity diagram when the filter is irradiated with the same light while being interposed between a pair of polarization plates arranged in a crossed Nicols state each having a degree of polarization of 99.98% or more.

摘要： A color filter substrate for a display device includes pixels arranged in columns and rows. The substrate includes color filters, each being associated with one of the pixels and including at least two A-color filters in a first color and at least two B-color filters in a second color. Each row is associated with a group of color filters including at least one of the A-color filters and at least one of the B-color filters. Each of the A-color and B-color filters has first and second sides defining a width in the row direction. The area SA of each A-color filter is greater than the area SB of each B-color filter. The first side of each B-color filter has at least one recess, and the first side of each B-color filter has a shape that is defined by forming a recess on the first side of each A-color filter toward the second side thereof in the row direction.

摘要： An electric blower includes an electric motor including a stator and a rotor. The impeller is rotated by the electric motor. An air guide having a plurality of guide blades is disposed around the impeller, and a casing encloses the impeller and the air guide. The casing is provided with a number of exhaust openings through which a part of an air stream suctioned by the impeller is discharged, and a circumferential length of each of the exhaust openings is substantially identical to a circumferential distance between outer peripheral ends of adjacent guide blades. Alternatively, the circumferential length of each of the exhaust openings may be less or greater than the circumferential distance between outer peripheral ends of adjacent guide blades.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a color filter which includes arranging an electroconductor and a transparent substrate carrying an electroconductive transparent thin layer in an electrodeposition bath so that the electroconductor and the substrate are disposed in spaced and parallel relationship and that a baffle is disposed between the thus arranged electroconductor and the substrate, and carrying out electrodeposition in the electrodeposition bath by using the electroconductive transparent thin layer as one electrode and the electroconductor as a counter electrode permits the production of a desired color filter having superior layer flatness, even when the substrate enlarged in the size is used.

摘要： A floor nozzle for use with a vacuum cleaner has an agitator rotatably disposed in a housing and includes a rotor and at least one elongate web mounted on a circumferential surface of the rotor. The elongate web is made of a flexible material and has a plurality of teeth on at least one of opposite surfaces thereof. The elongate web has a T-shaped helical anchor foot inserted in a complementary T-shaped helical groove defined in the circumferential surface of the rotor. The floor nozzle also has a turbine rotatable under a vacuum developed by the vacuum cleaner and operatively coupled to the agitator for rotating the agitator.

The air suctioned by rotation of the impeller cools the heat-generating component in the circuit unit before cooling the stator and the rotor.
