    摘要: There is provided a method of initializing a recording medium having a first surface and a second surface which face to each other with a recording layer in between. The method includes forming interference patterns to have a pitch wider than λr/2N by applying initializing light of a plane wave with a wavelength λf to the recording layer from both of the first surface side and the second surface side, where λr is a wavelength of reproducing light applied to the recording layer at the time of reproducing recorded information, and N is an average refractive index of the recording layer.

    摘要: An apparatus and a method for outputting high-quality images in which both jerkiness and blur are reduced are provided. At generation of moving images to be output at a certain frame rate, movement velocities of a subject according to the frame rate of the output images are calculated in units of partial areas in each frame image constituting the moving images, optimal shutter speeds to reduce degradation of the output images are obtained as optimal imaging shutter speeds corresponding to the movement velocities in units of partial areas, images corresponding to the obtained optimal shutter speeds are generated in units of partial areas, and frame images generated by combining the generated partial area images are output. According to this configuration, high-quality images in which both jerkiness and blur are reduced can be output.

    摘要: According to the present invention, there is provided a method of recording a unique ID to a read-only optical disc based on the 17PP modulation. The read-only optical disc (1) has set thereon a specific physical cluster to which a unique ID is to be recorded. With user data to be recorded to the specific physical cluster being made all zero (0), a pit/land pattern is formed, and a molding machine using a molding die is used to form many optical discs in the common manner. Thereafter, an ID unique to each optical disc is generated, and a land in a predetermined position in the specific physical cluster is transited to a pit by irradiating high-power laser light to the land correspondingly to the bit information, so that the pit/land pattern will comply the 17PP modulation rule even after the transition of the land to the pit.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an image processing apparatus which can restore, from a color and sensitivity mosaic image acquired using a CCD image sensor of the single plate type or the like, a color image signal of a wide dynamic range wherein the sensitivity characteristics of pixels are uniformized and each of the pixels has all of a plurality of color components. A sensitivity uniformization section uniformizes the sensitivities of pixels of a color and sensitivity mosaic image to produce a color mosaic image, and a color interpolation section interpolates color components of the pixels of the color mosaic image M to produce output images R, G and B. The present invention can be applied to a digital camera which converts a picked up optical image into a color image signal of a wide dynamic range.

    摘要: A mobile communication terminal device whose authentication and settlement functions by noncontact proximity communication can be continuously used even after operating voltage from battery power drops is provided.     摘要: An optical recording and reproducing apparatus is provided for recording standing wave information on an optical recording medium and reproducing standing wave information from an optical recording medium. The optical recording and reproducing apparatus includes an optical head configured to separate a laser beam emitted from a light source (1) into three beams and emit, using an objective lens (7), two beams A and B of the three separate beams into an optical disk (8) having a reflecting surface (10) from the same side of the optical disk (8) so that a focal position SF of the one laser beam A reaching the reflecting surface is the same as a focal position of the other laser beam B after returning from the reflecting surface. The optical recording and reproducing apparatus records standing waves inside the optical disk in a multilayer structure using the two laser beams emitted from the optical head so as to have the same focal position SF, and reads out information from a reflected beam obtained by emitting the laser beam A of the two laser beams.
