    Abstract: A second portion of a writing device is caused to penetrate a through-hole of a tubular portion of a pen pressure transmitter, starting from a first end of the second portion of the writing device, and the tubular portion abuts a surface of a first portion of the writing device that faces the second portion of the writing device. When a pen pressure is exerted on the first portion of the writing device, the pen pressure also is exerted on the tubular portion of the pen pressure transmitter abutting the surface of the first portion of the writing device that faces the second portion of the writing device. The pen pressure is transmitted through the pen pressure transmitter to a pen pressure detector disposed at a position spaced apart from the writing device.

    Abstract: A pen pressure detection device includes: a pressure sensor including electrodes that output electrical information corresponding to an applied pressure; and a holder configured to electrically connect the pressure sensor to a circuit board having a circuit that detects the applied pressure based on the electrical information output from the pressure sensor. The holder includes a first portion that retains the pressure sensor and a second portion that engages with the circuit board, and the holder has a surface on which wiring is formed, the wiring extending from the first portion to the second portion, and the electrodes of the pressure sensor being electrically connected to the circuit board via the wiring when the holder and the circuit board are engaged with each other. The pen pressure detection device can be easily assembled and maintain a connection to the circuit board when the applied pressure is high.

    Abstract: An electronic pen includes a circuit board disposed such that an axial direction of a casing is aligned with a longitudinal direction of the circuit board, an electronic circuit on the circuit board, and a battery having a columnar shape disposed on a side of the circuit board opposite to a pen tip side of the circuit board inside a hollow portion of the casing such that positive and negative electrode conductors protruding from an end surface of the battery extend toward the circuit board. The battery is disposed such that a separation space is formed between the end surface and an end portion of the circuit board and such that tip portions of the positive and negative electrode conductors are in contact with the circuit board. The circuit board and the tip portions of the positive and negative electrode conductors are electrically connected to each other by soldered portions.

    Abstract: An electronic pen includes an electrically conductive coil spring that expands and contracts, a core body having electrical conductivity, a writing pressure detector having a fitting part fitted to an end of the core body on a side of the core body that is opposite to a side of the core body that includes a pen tip, and an electronic circuit that includes an oscillating circuit. The electronic circuit, in operation, causes a detection result from the writing pressure detector to be included in a signal from the oscillating circuit. The core body penetrates through a center axis of the coil spring and is not biased by the coil spring, and a first end of the coil spring on a side of the coil spring adjacent to the pen tip is connected to the core body and a second end of the coil spring is connected to the electronic circuit.

    Abstract: An electronic pen main body unit of an electronic pen having a function of a fountain pen includes an ink writing unit in which a cartridge housing liquid ink is fitted to a rear end portion of a pen core, and a pen body is disposed so as to be superposed on the pen core in a direction orthogonal to a coupling direction of the pen core and the cartridge, and an interaction circuit having an electronic part which, in operation, exchanges a signal with a tablet. The interaction circuit is disposed on a side of the pen core opposite the pen body in the direction orthogonal to the coupling direction of the pen core and the cartridge in a state in which the interaction circuit recedes to the cartridge side from a writing end of the pen body in the coupling direction of the pen core and the cartridge.
