摘要： Described is a process for imparting a fragrance to, and/or eliminating a malodour from solid or semi-solid surfaces through the use of polymeric particles. The polymeric particles have infrastructures composed of ethylene-vinyl copolymers, polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene and/or ethylcellulose. Also described are aqueous treatment compositions for use in such processes.

摘要： A polymeric encapsulated fragrance is disclosed which is suitable for use in personal care and cleaning products. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fragrance is encapsulated by a first polymer material to form a fragrance encapsulated polymer, the polymer encapsulated shell is then coated with a mixture of cationic polymers, in a preferred embodiment the coating polymers are a reaction product of polyamines (including 1H-imidazole) and (chloromethyl) oxirane or (bromomethyl) oxirane.

摘要： Described is a method for imparting a substantive fragrance to fabrics being washed or dried in a washing machine or clothes dryer by means of tumbling the fabrics with one or more sachets, each of which contains fragrance-containing particles. The polymer particles comprise an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, a blend of polyethylene and an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, an ester-terminated polyamide, a blend of an ester-terminated polyamide and a polysaccharide and/or a C1–C4 alkyl methacrylate polymer. A method for producing fragrance-containing particles is also disclosed.

摘要： Described is a multiple (2-4)-compartment fluidic individually stable pre-storable composition storage and unstable mixture-forming and delivery container having separate compartments each communicating with a single mixing zone via an externally-located fluidic composition multiple delivery tube system juxtaposed with the outer surfaces of the compartment walls. These containers are well suited for storing and transporting compositions such as a cleaning agent composition, a personal care composition, an aqueous liquid detergent composition and/or a fabric softening composition and then promptly delivering the resulting unstable mixture to the desired location. The container has been advantageously found to deliver unstable mixtures which could include aqueous suspensions of microencapsulated fragrances or other ingredients.
