    摘要: A driver IC (integrated circuit) for a display device allowing simple designing and production and yet capable of obviating display quality difference is provided. The driver IC includes a plurality of drive signal output terminals arrange to have variable drive capacities which vary depending on loads of respective signal electrodes of the display device to which the output terminals are connected so as to supply the respective signal electrodes of the display device with drive signal waveforms having identical time constant. The driver IC preferably includes a number of juxtaposed transistors corresponding to but larger in number than the drive signal output terminals, wherein the respective drive signal output terminals are connected to prescribed numbers of transistors so as to have different drive capacities depending on loads of the signal electrodes of the display device to which the output terminals are connected.

    摘要: A channel-switching valve is provided. The channel-switching valve comprises: a cylindrical valve housing whose one end is closed by a main valve seat; a low pressure outlet and two connecting holes for connecting the inside and the outside of the valve housing; a high pressure inlet for connecting the inside and the outside of the valve housing; and a connecting groove and a guide groove formed on an end surface of a main vale element which is accommodated in the valve housing. When the main valve element is situated in a first rotation position, one of the connecting holes is connected to the low pressure outlet by the connecting groove while the other one of the connecting holes is connected to the high pressure inlet. When the main valve element is situated in a second rotation position, the other one of the connecting holes is connected to the low pressure outlet by the connecting groove while the one of the connecting holes is connected to the high pressure inlet by the guide groove. Both end surfaces of the main valve element are externally connected by an equalizer channel formed inside the valve housing. When the main valve element is rotated between the first rotation position and the second rotation position by a main valve element drive, the lower end surface of the main valve element is separated from the main valve seat by internally connecting both end surfaces by a pilot port which is open as a pilot valve element is moved by a pilot valve element drive. Thus, the refrigerant channels can be switched efficiently in terms of energy consumption and time required.

    摘要: In a transfer roller for use in a retention type copying machine, a semiconductive transfer roller is connected through a current limiting resistor having a high resistance value of 100 M.OMEGA. to 1000 M.OMEGA. to a transferring bias voltage source. A pair of auxiliary transfer rollers made of conductive material are arranged on respective sides of the transfer roller. The auxiliary transfer rollers are connected to the transferring bias voltage source through a potentiometer. To the transfer roller is applied a first transferring bias voltage of 600 to 900 volts and to the auxiliary transfer rollers is applied a second transferring bias voltage of 400 to 650 volts. When a resistance of a record paper is decreased due to high humidity, the first transferring bias voltage is automatically decreased and the second transferring bias voltage becomes predominant.

    摘要: A scanning circuit and an image display device in which the influence of losses in a signal path to scanning wiring and a scanning signal output circuit can be reduced. By considering matrix drive in which one row is driven at a time and two or more of the rows are not simultaneously driven, the 480 rows are divided into six modules and one feedback circuit is provided in correspondence with each module to perform feedback control of the output buffers corresponding to 80 rows. An output from a switch is amplified by an operational amplifier and is input as a compensation signal to all the output buffers by an output voltage compensation circuit. Compensation for a voltage drop is made by using the compensation signal for an increase in voltage such that the apparent voltage drop due to the output current is limited to a small value.

    摘要: A display apparatus, such as a liquid crystal display apparatus, is constituted by: a display unit including electrodes arranged in a matrix form, a circuit for generating a signal waveform applied to the electrodes of the display unit, and a low-pass filter for removing a frequency component exceeding a prescribed frequency from the signal waveform to inlet ends of the electrodes in the display unit. As a result, the occurrence of a large transient current liable to flow at pixels close to inlet ends of the display unit can be suppressed. The removal of such a high-frequency component may also be performed by superposing split pulses with a resin and a falling portion of a drive signal waveform and by integrating the superposed drive signal waveform.

    摘要: A five-way valve includes a cylindrical valve body. A piston member is employed in one end of the cylindrical valve body to define a high pressure chamber and a first pressure chamber. A defrosting valve is employed in the other end of the cylindrical valve body to define a second pressure chamber. A slider valve member coupled to the piston member is slidably employed within said high pressure chamber into which the high temperature and high pressure refrigerant from the compressor is induced. An electromagnetic valve is connected between both the first and second pressure converting chambers, and the inlet of the compressor. When the electromagnetic valve is energized to communicate the second pressure converting chamber with the inlet of the compressor, resulting in the generation of a pressure difference in the defrosting valve member, the defrosting valve member is actuated to pass the high temperature and high pressure refrigerant in the high pressure chamber to the inlet of the outdoor heat exchanger for the defrosting purpose, while the indoor heat exchanger is operated to heat ambient atmosphere.
