    摘要: An insect-catching lamp includes a casing having its front side bored with a through opening. The casing is installed with an insect-luring lamp of LED in the interior and provided with a deep-colored adhesive paper at one inner side. When the LED emits bright light outward, mosquitoes will be attracted to fly around the insect-luring lamp and be stuck by the adhesive paper. The insect-catching lamp of this invention is provided with neither electrode bars nor high-voltage electronic elements so it is quite safe in use and able to prevent people from touching the adhesive paper. In addition, the insect-luring lamp employs the low-power LED as an electric source, able to lower consumption of electricity, prolong service life and reduce cost in use.

The liquids are mixed over a period of hours or days onto the solids to generate CO2 in the vicinity of an insect/arthropod trap having an insect-debilitating surface that traps the insects and arthropods when they alight on the surface. The container may have a cylindrical shape with an upper and lower chamber with fly paper attached to the container. The fly paper may be secured to the base and/or top portions of the container, or there may be fly paper like appendages to trap insects attracted by emitted gases.

    摘要: An insect trap using attractant light, comprising a source of insect attractant light and a housing that can be mounted on a generally planar or flat mounting surface. The housing and the source of light cooperate to form a bidirectional or a multidirectional (overlapping or non-overlapping) pattern of insect attractant light. The housing comprises one, two or more openings for the insect attractant light that is reflected and radiated onto the flat mounting surface. The housing and the source of insect attractant light can cooperate to form a light pattern directed in a continuous display pattern that can surround the housing. The housing openings further facilitate the entry of flying insect pests into the trap. As the insects enter the trap, they are immobilized on an insect immobilization surface mounted within the trap. Cooperation between direct radiant light, reflected light and the position of the housing and insect immobilization surface forms at least two (preferably non-overlapping) light displays that can substantially increase capture rates when compared to prior traps. The trap can also display a light pattern substantially surrounding the trap housing.

    摘要: A flying inspect trap includes large, multi-directional, oppositely facing ingress openings to elongated chambers housing UV lamps emitting insect attractant light. A disposable cartridge has two sections which mate together to form a container for a roll of adhesive trapping medium. The cartridge sections are opened and spread apart to fit beneath the UV lamps. A motor indexes the adhesive medium so that some unused portion is always available for trapping insects until the roll is exhausted. The spent roll is then rolled into one cartridge section externally; and the two cartridge sections are coupled together to encase the spent roll for disposal.
