Abstract:
In a vehicular air conditioner in which heat of recirculated air inputted by an indoor air blower, is exchanged by an indoor heat exchanger so as to be retransmitted to a vehicle, there are provided with a cyclone fan, which aspirates heavy fresh outside air including snow or the like, so as to mix the outside air with the recirculated air inputted by the indoor air blower, and a partition plate, which separates light air in which snow or the like is not included, and heavy air in which snow or the like is included, by centrifugal force of the cyclone fan at a blowoff outlet of the cyclone fan.
Abstract:
An air exhaust device for a vehicle body panel, which can prevent the inflow of noise, dust and exhaust gas while providing a ventilation function for discharging indoor air to the outside and can enhance a stiffness around an aperture, may include a main body plate, a filtering member, and an air exhaust passage. The main body plate is coupled to the vehicle body panel to block the aperture. The filtering member is disposed in a reception part of the main body plate to block foreign substances introduced from the outside and to allow air passing through. The air exhaust passage extends from the reception part to the outside of the vehicle body panel to discharge the air passing through the filtering member to the outside.
Abstract:
The device has air ducts (21, 22) in which a fan/aspirator (4) is interposed, passive and mechanical air-filtration elements (2, 11, 13) being placed before the unit (3) formed. At the exit from said unit (3) there is an active filtration module that includes one or more non-thermal plasma conduits (6). When the ducts (22) closest to the module (7) bifurcate or branch inside said module (7), they define at least two clear air outlets (12), said unit (3), said module (7) and a filter (2) of said passive and mechanical filtration elements being connected to a control unit (5) by means of a communication (8) selected from mechanical, electrical, electronic and optoelectronic means and any combination thereof. The device can be used in land, water, air or space vehicles (10).
Abstract:
An air filter assembly of a blower for a vehicle may include an air filter casing installed in an intake duct having an outdoor air intake port communicating with the outdoor of the vehicle, an indoor air intake port communicating with the indoor of the vehicle, and a subsidiary indoor air intake port communicating with the indoor of the vehicle, wherein the subsidiary indoor air intake port is provided in the air filter casing. an air filter received in the air filter casing and purifying indoor air or outdoor air supplied into the intake duct, and an air guide integrated with an end of the air filter and selectively opening or closing the subsidiary indoor air intake port so as to guide a predetermined amount of indoor air into the intake duct during an outdoor air inlet mode.
Abstract:
An improved air exhauster for a vehicle is provided, comprising a non-woven filter with a covering sheet of material fastened to the filter face. The filter may be assembled into a frame and the covering sheet may acts as valve to allow air outflow from the interior of the vehicle, yet restrict outside noise from entering. The covering sheet may be a relatively more dense non-woven material than the filter or may be a polymer film. The covering sheet may be attached at the centerline of the filter to function as a pleat separator and reduce the incidence of pleat collapse under high flow rate or increased pressure drop.
Abstract:
A filter housing assembly which inhibits the ingestion of foreign matter and particulates into the air intake and air flow openings of a motor vehicle to safeguard the interior cabin and HVAC equipment typically utilized in vehicles. The filter housing assembly of the present invention consists of a filter housing member adapted to house a filter which may be integrated within the assembly as an integral manufactured component in sealable engagement or a snap-fit, modular engageable assembly which allows the selected filter to be removed and replaced at will to ensure that the air intake portions of the vehicle or free from debris and unwanted foreign matter.
Abstract:
An air filter assembly for a motor vehicle has a filter housing and an air filter disposed in the housing. The housing has a liquid outlet downstream of the filter and a filter bypass passageway is provided for enabling liquid entering at an air inlet to flow past the filter and exit through the outlet.
Abstract:
Fresh air enters the operator's cab of a work vehicle through a fresh air filter. The fresh air filter is mounted to the operator's cab and is held in place by a door. The door is pivotally mounted to the exterior of the operator's cab, so that the fresh air filter can be serviced from outside the operator's cab. The door is held in place by a latch having a handle that is located inside the operator's cab. The housing is a plastic molded door having integral pivot studs that pivotally engage the operator's cab. The door is provided with a back wall having a first opening located adjacent to the filter and through which fresh air passes to the filter. The door is also provided with louvers for providing a pneumatic path for fresh air to reach the filter. The pneumatic path extends first upwardly from the louvers and then downwardly towards the filter.
Abstract:
Fresh air supplied to the passenger compartment of a vehicle is aspirated via a common fresh air aspirating opening and is conducted to two separately arranged filter devices. The fresh air cleaned in each filter device then is separately conducted to a common air collecting chamber, in which the blower of a heating and/or air conditioning system is disposed.
Abstract:
A passenger compartment air filter arrangement for motor vehicles having a ventilation or air-conditioning system is provided with a filter for the air sucked in out of the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. The filter is installed directly behind the cover of an intake channel. On the inlet side of the channel, the housing has a web-like flange which presses in a sealing manner into damping material of the foot space cover when the cover with the filter and a foot space cover are mounted, to achieve a good suction effect and noise damping.
