Abstract:
A door hinge including a fixed element coupled to a wall; and a movable element coupled to the door. The fixed and movable elements are rotatably coupled to rotate between open and closed positions about a first axis. One of the movable and fixed elements includes a hinge body; the other of the movable and fixed elements includes a pivot and cam means. The hinge body includes a working chamber defining a second axis, which includes follower means interacting with the cam means to slide between first and second end-stroke positions. The cam means includes a flat face parallel to the first axis. The follower means includes an elastic element and an interface element having a first end interacting with the elastic element and a second end including a planar operating surface to come in contact with the flat face of the cam means to remain in contact and parallel.
Abstract:
A structural arrangement is described m pneumatic floor spring of reduced dimensions, which requires a hole in the floor for its installation, providing a shielded structure that prevents the water accumulation, such pneumatic floor spring keeps the door (100) closed by the force exerted by the plunger (80) and when the door is opened, the pin (30) spins along with the cam (60) which, with the double helicoid, pushes the descendant track (70) and the plunger (80).
Abstract:
A slow-closing door hinge, includes a first foldout and a second foldout having a shaft sleeve respectively. A fixed rod mounted in the sleeve of the first foldout, and a rotating rod mounted in the sleeve of the second foldout are connected by a connecting rod. The connecting rod and the fixed rod are movably connected, with a hollow groove at the joint. A restoring spring in contact with the fixed rod and fixed to the connecting rod in the hollow groove. The connecting rod is connected with the rotating rod in a coaxial, rotationally actuating manner. The forward and backward rotation of the fixed rod and the rotating rod cooperates with the restoring spring to drive the connecting rod in a reciprocal motion within the shaft sleeve.
Abstract:
A door hinge having two hinge leaves joined together at a knuckle defining a hinge axis about which the leaves are relatively pivotal and top and bottom sheet-metal parts forming a housing surrounding one of the hinge leaves. Two rotatable adjustment spindles are each journaled in the housing, rotatable about respective axes extending in a first direction perpendicular to the hinge axis, and operatively threadedly connected to the one leaf so that rotation of the spindles moves the one leaf in a first direction perpendicular to the hinge axis. A base plate between the parts is formed with respective threaded hole receiving the spindles, the base plate being secured to the one leaf for movement of the one leaf in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction relative to the base plate.
Abstract:
An appliance lid hinge assembly has a channel housing including first and second spaced-apart side walls and a transverse face walls, a cavity located between the first and second side walls and a slot having first and second slot portions respectively located in said first and second side walls. The channel housing is pivotally connected to a cam via a rivet or other pivot fastener at a pivot point. A biasing element acts between the housing and the cam in order to control the movement of housing relative to the cam about the pivot point. Alternatively, a damper can be used to control movement of the housing relative to the cam about the pivot point. A snubber subsystem can also be added to provide further damping resistance.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a furniture hinge that is mounted between a furniture wall body and a furniture door so as to be used as an opening and closing means for the furniture door. The present invention includes: a long concave hole (50) that is formed in a main body portion (110); an elastic piece (10) that is formed in a middle plate (140) so as to perform a buffering function in the vertical direction; an oblong hole (20) that is formed in the elastic piece (10); a rotor (30) which is accommodated in the oblong hole (20) and which has a step protrusion (32) that is formed in one side portion on the outer circumference surface thereof; and an eccentric bolt (40) that rotates while being inserted into the long concave hole (50) and is coupled to the rotor (30) through a leg portion (42) for the regular/reverse rotation. The furniture hinge can be finely adjusted and the position of the door can be discerned with the naked eye.
Abstract:
A door closer is provided to automatically pull a storm or screen door to a fully closed position without user action. The door closer includes a bracket housing with a cam switch movable along a track as the door opens and closes. The closer cylinder rod is engaged with the cam switch until the door is fully opened. The cam switch biases the closer cylinder and rod as the door approaches the closed position.
Abstract:
Hinge assembly for household appliances having an horizontally-pivoted front door, and which comprises: a first coupling element; a second coupling element; and a door-weight balancing device; the door-weight balancing device in turn comprising a supporting rod; a compression-preloaded elastically-deformable member which is fitted to the supporting rod so as to have a first end firmly fixed to the distal end of the supporting rod and a second end; a linking mechanism which connects the proximal end of the supporting rod to the second coupling element, so that the supporting rod is axially moved to further compress the elastically-deformable member when the second coupling element rotates from the first to the second working position; and an adjustable spacer element which is structured so to allow a manually-operated adjustment, thus varying the compression preload of the elastically-deformable member fitted on the supporting rod.
Abstract:
A hinge mechanism for a mobile electronic device includes a first leaf comprising first and second fixed pivot axes and a second leaf comprising third and fourth fixed pivot axes, the four pivot axes being substantially parallel to one another. A first linkage is pivotally coupled to the first leaf at the first pivot axis and pivotally coupled to the second leaf at the fourth pivot axis. A second linkage is pivotally coupled to the first leaf such at the second pivot axis and pivotally coupled to the second leaf at the third pivot axis. The first and second leaves are pivotable at least about 180° relative to one another. A cam mechanism can be included to bias the pivotal motion of the leaves. An FPC or other electrical connector linking the leaves can pass through a passage in at least one of the linkages.
Abstract:
A hinge for cold rooms, swing gates or the like includes a stationary support structure and at least a door movable between an open door position and a closed door position. The hinge comprises a box-like hinge body and a pin rotatably coupled to rotate about a first axis between the open door position and the closed door position. Closing means are provided for automatically returning the door, as well as a working fluid acting thereon to hydraulically contrast their action. The closing means comprise a cam element unitary with the pin interacting with a plunger element housed in an operating chamber defined within the box-like hinge body. The box-like hinge body has an elongated shape to define a second axis perpendicular to the first axis.
