摘要: Electro-mechanical and electronically controlled access devices are described for controlling access to a building, premises or area in a secure manner such that a subject who is deemed ineligible for access will be barred entry and may be optionally retained. The devices can contain multiple rotatable door panels, which can be positioned behind one another. The door panels can be controlled by mechanized arms or other control devices in order to control the passage through the device. The direction of flow through a device according to these embodiments is electronically controlled and may be changed at any point in time. At any instant in time, the flow through the device is unidirectional. Multiple devices can be stacked together to form clusters, which can be controlled according to traffic, time of day, or other factors.

摘要: The mechanical elevating and revolving gates consist of a support box, an overlapping monolithic plate, lever mechanisms, and hinges. The overlapping plate is raised vertically upwards by a predetermined amount (up to 1 meter), after which the said plate is turned by 90 degrees, completely opening an aperture in the support box and forming a protective cover above the gates. These two movements are carried out by a single mechanism which transforms from a crank mechanism into a four-link chain mechanism and vice versa. Such transformation is possible due to two original hinges attaching the upper part of the overlapping plate to the support box. Such gates do not require locks and bolts. Even heavy snow accumulations will not prevent the gates from opening and closing.

摘要: This security door construction is applicable to safes, factory doors and house doors. An offset hinge assembly allows the door to swing open and closed and also to slide in and out of a door slot in the door frame at the closing edge of the door. In the construction of a safe, hooks on the inside of the door enter slots in upstands inside the safe and engage and disengage through the sliding motion. House doors and screen doors use a hinge assembly which operates in the same way as the safe. One pair of hinges are fixed to the frame and the second pair of hinges are fixed to the door. The frame and door pairs are connected by a rod or tube which ensures that the hinge axis of the door pair remains parallel to the hinge axis of the frame pair. A door locking mechanism is actuated by a conventional pneumatic door closer. A gas strut supplies the thrust to cause the mechanism to slide the door into the door slot when the door closer brings the door into register with the door slot.

摘要: Improvements to movable closure systems which aid installability and reliability of said systems can include wheels running along the top and bottom of individual slidable elements, the wheels oriented horizontally and disposed within a track configured for receiving the horizontal wheels. The horizontal wheels reduce the vertical profile of the track-engaging portions of the slidable elements, enabling more of the slidable element to be used for glass or other aesthetically-preferable transparent materials. A track leveling system enables installers to more easily deploy and properly tune the system between floors and casings which are not perfectly flush. A compression jamb permits closure of the system via slidable elements pressing into the jamb to deflect it in order to better seal the closure comprised of the individual slidable elements. A durable hinge mechanism permits the sliding elements to rotate in order to stack the sliding elements at one end of the system.

摘要: The present invention relates to a double breakout sliding door system for use in retail and other buildings. The system includes left and right doors that are configured to slide open and closed and also breakout in two directions (outward and inward) when a force is exerted on the doors in order to, for example, allow customers and employees to exit a building in the event of a fire and to prevent damage to the doors in the event that a user pushes on them when they are closed. The system also includes a leveling system configured to keep the doors level when they breakout and a ball detent mechanism to alert the user to the proper position of the doors.

The arm portion couples the sliding door and the body portion. The arm portion is disposed, on at least one of the sliding door and the body portion, to be turnable around a shaft parallel to rotary axes of the first rollers.

The utility carrier has an L-shaped frame including a back panel and a floor. Couplers for releasable mounting of the carrier to a variety of hitch interfaces are mounted on the back panel. Corner posts, releasable to facilitate compact shipping, are used to releasably secure a front panel and two side panels to form, if desired, a closed area. The utility carrier can he lifted and tilted by the hydraulically actuated hitch interface.
