摘要： A deployable security barrier system (10, 10′, 110) is formed by deploying bullet-proof or bullet-resistant barrier fence sections (26, 26′, 28, 28′). A control system which enables rapid deployment of the sections to form across a hallway or other closed area a barrier fence (30, 130) which is high enough to prevent or at least greatly impede a person from passing through or over the fence. The barrier fence (30, 130) may extend from floor to ceiling or to a fixed barrier extending downwardly from the ceiling. The barrier fence may have at least one transparent section (26a, 28a) to enable law enforcement or security persons to observe the situation on the other side of the barrier fence. The controls also permit at least partial opening of the barrier fence to enable law enforcement or security personnel to pass through it as needed. Supplemental alarm and/or distracting and/or disabling agencies may be deployed in addition to the barrier fence (30, 130).

摘要： A security revolving door assembly includes a revolving door and a controlling unit. The revolving door has a rotary vertical shaft, a vertical lateral wall extending circumferentially relative to the shaft, and a plurality of door wings extending radially from the shaft. The door wings have distal ends, include first and second door wings, are rotatable along with the shaft, and define with the lateral wall a trap space when the first and second door wings reach respectively first and second positions. The distal ends of the first and second door wings confront the lateral wall when the first and second door wings reach respectively the first and second positions. The controlling unit is operable so as to stop rotation of the door wings as soon as the door wings define the trap space.

摘要： A transaction security system is disclosed which provides protection and security for transaction customers while conducting their business, such as those visiting a remote bank automatic teller machine. The enclosure can accommodate either or both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. A system of detectors and operators open the appropriate door for ingress of an authorized customer and maintain the doors to the facility closed and locked while the customer is transacting business. When the customer exits the facility, door opening mechanisms are again enabled to offer admittance and service to the next authorized customer.

摘要： A revolving door, particularly for the protection of the access to a room, comprises a rotating shaft, a number of door wings spaced around it and mounted thereto and a pair of opposite panels bordering the door wings and defining a partly closed zone with a first and a second opening. Further a drive motor for the shaft and a control unit for the drive motor are provided. The revolving door is provided with a detection means for detecting a person authorized or unauthorized to access the room, and a first sensor for detecting an unauthorized person entering the zone through the first or the second opening respectively. The control unit turns off the drive motor in response to the first sensor. A second sensor is adapted to detect the presence of an unauthorized person outside said zone in or close to the first or second opening respectively, wherein the control unit turns off the drive motor in response to said second sensor.

摘要： A thief-trapping apparatus for a room having a closure permitting room ingress and egress and an object therein to be safeguarded utilizes a locking mechanism for the room closure and a cord having a frangible link. The locking mechanism includes a bolt and a bolt receptacle which are operatively mountable on the closure and the wall of the room adjacent the closure. When operatively mounted on the room wall and closure, the bolt is movable between a first position at which the bolt cooperates with the bolt receptacle to lock the closure in a closed condition and a second position at which the closure is unlocked. The locking mechanism further includes a spring for biasing the bolt from its second position to its first position, and the cord is fastened at one end to the bolt so that when the cord is pulled from its other end, the bolt moves to its second position. The other end of the cord is fastenable to the room object to be safeguarded so that if, after the other cord end is fastened to the room object so as to hold the bolt in its second position, the bolt is disconnected from the object by the occurrence of an event, such as the breaking of the frangible link in the cord, the bolt is moved by the spring to its first, or closure-locking, position.

摘要： A system of detaining a robber on the premises robbed after the robbery has taken place. The premises is provided with lobby entrances having inner and outer doors through which persons entering and leaving the premises must pass. Once a robbery commences, the doors to the lobbies are automatically locked. In the money handed to the robber, there is concealed a radio transmitter which transmits a narrow wave length signal. Mounted in the wall adjacent to each lobby inner door inside the premises proper there is mounted a receiver which is tuned to the narrow wave length and which has a limited range of reception on the order of about five feet or so. When the transmitter carried by the robber is within the receiving range of the receiver, the inner lobby door can be opened from inside the premises. Once the robber enters the lobby, neither of the lobby doors can be opened by the robber and he will be caught in the lobby.
