    摘要: An access panel for an opening in a duct is provided. The access panel includes an exterior and an interior. The access panel further includes a section positioned on the interior and having a profile substantially corresponding to the opening in the duct. A plurality of fasteners is positioned about the section. Each fastener has a dip configured to move to a position defined to extend away from the profile of the section on the interior. When the access panel is positioned with the section on the interior against the opening in the duct and the fasteners are moved to the locking position the clips rotate to extend over the profile and secure a portion of the duct adjacent to the opening against the interior of the access panel.

    摘要: An access panel assembly for providing access to a duct through an opening in the duct. The access panel assembly comprises a sealing member, a cover member and fasteners. The sealing member fits around the opening in the duct and the cover member fits over the sealing member and coupled to the duct by the fasteners. The cover member may comprise a fire resistant panel and is formable to the shape of the duct thereby allowing the access panel assembly to be fitted to irregular shaped ducts or openings in the ducts. The access panel assembly allows easy and ready access to the interior of ducts or other air handling equipment to permit the inspection and cleansing of the interior surfaces and other interior components of any contaminants.

    摘要: This invention provides a hatch cover suitable for use with fluid ducts having a wide range of diameters, the hatch cover is formed from a plate of a resilient material and is generally of an elongated shape. The resilient material forming the plate has sufficient elasticity to be able to conform to the curvature of the inner surface of a fluid duct when the cover is in place and is held against the inner surface to cover an opening through the duct wall. A flexible gasket material is secured to at least the entire circumferential edge portion of the outer major surface of the resilient plate. The resilient plate is secured to the duct by a plurality of clamping mechanisms attached to the outer surface of the resilient plate so as to press on the outer surface of the duct when clamped, and thus to cause the outer surface of the hatch cover to press against the inner surface of the duct. The gasket material on the outer surface of the plate assists in forming a relatively fluid tight seal between the gasket material and the inner surface of the duct and the outer surface of the resilient plate. The material forming the resilient plate should have sufficient flexibility and elasticity to conform to the curvature of the inner surface of the duct when clamped.

A ventilating device delivers a particle-free or laminar or turbulent air stream to the work chamber. A return air conduit communicates with the work chamber via an outlet opening and by way of which air is carried away from the work chamber. A cleaning element is disposed in the work chamber, to enable cleaning of the work chamber and of the return air conduit. At least one blocking device blocks off an additional connecting portion between the work chamber and the return air conduit. The blocking device is able to be opened for cleaning of the return air conduit.

    摘要: An access door which covers and seals an access opening in a ventilating duct. The edge of the access opening is strengthened by a dual density gasket having a U-shaped hard portion which is applied to the duct edge. A softer sealing element projects from the hard portion of the gasket and is sealed against from the inside by the door so that the duct pressure enhances the seal. The door is a sheet metal panel having a stepped configuration and a peripheral flange for contact with the seal elements. The door is held over the access opening by retainer straps having adjustment screws.

    摘要: This invention relates to an access door arrangement for easy entry into ductwork. The access door has a circular collar member which has a flat inner flange that threads into a hole in the ductwork. A closure member is located over an outer flange on the collar member. An annular gasket may be placed between the outer flange and the closure member for sealing or insulating purposes. The closure member is held firmly over the hole by a retaining ring which is placed over the closure member with its ends drawn together and held by a clasp and latch arrangement. The access door is very quickly and easily opened by merely releasing the retaining ring by opening the clasp and latch arrangement and moving the closure member off the collar. Furthermore, the whole access door arrangement is readily and quickly installed on ductwork by turning the inner flange into or out of a properly sized hole.
