摘要： A system for use with a manhole vault having an internal atmosphere, and, optionally, with a ventilation stack connecting the vault to an external atmosphere. The system includes a manhole cover, a ventilation pipe, and an air moving assembly. The cover has one or more through-holes extending between top and bottom surfaces. Each of the through-hole(s) is in fluid communication with the external atmosphere at the top surface. The pipe has a through-channel that extends between first and second openings. The first opening is positioned proximal to either an opening into the ventilation stack or at least one of the through-hole(s) at the bottom surface of the cover. The second opening is positioned in the interior of the vault. The device is configured to cause a portion of one of the interior and external atmospheres to flow through the through-channel toward a different one of the interior and external atmospheres.

摘要： A flexible inspection and access view port window that conforms to the shape of air ducts present in forced air heating, cooling and ventilation systems and held in place using a border layer which is magnetic or peelable adhesive, so that it can easily be installed, removed and re-installed without tools. This device allows the user to visually inspect the air ducts by sighting the clarity of a graphic viewing target with border attached within the duct. The graphic will be obscured with an accumulation of dust or other contaminants. Air pressure integrity inside the air duct system is maintained without the use of sealing gaskets or screws. The viewer can assist inspection with the aid of an optional light by activating a switch at the time of inspection. An optional dust alarm can also be installed that will trigger an audible or visual alarm when the accumulated dust level inside the duct exceeds a preset threshold.

A clamp is adapted to be mounted adjacent the aperture of the duct at a position diametrically opposite the ramp. The clamp engages the door and shifts the same in the direction of the ramp, which movement presses the flange of the door tightly against the duct surface, the clamp including portions which overlie the door at positions remote from the ramp to urge such remotely disposed portions of the door against the duct surface.

The access panel further includes a section positioned on the interior and having a profile substantially corresponding to the opening in the duct. A plurality of fasteners is positioned about the section. Each fastener has a clip configured to move to a position defined to extend away from the profile of the section on the interior. When the access panel is positioned with the section on the interior against the opening in the duct and the fasteners are moved to the locking position the clips rotate to extend over the profile and secure a portion of the duct adjacent to the opening against the interior of the access panel.

摘要： An HVAC inspection frame device facilitates inspection within an HVAC system. The device includes a frame having a perimeter wall defining a channel extending through the frame. A lower flange is coupled to the frame extending inwardly into the channel from an interior face of the perimeter wall. Thus, the lower flange is configured for supporting the frame on a furnace. An upper flange is coupled to the frame extending inwardly into the channel from the interior face of the perimeter wall. Thus, the upper flange is configured to support the evaporator coil on the upper flange. An aperture is positioned in the perimeter wall for insertion of an optical inspection device to provide an image of the evaporator coil or furnace without time consuming disassembly or drilling of existing structure. A plug is insertable into the aperture engaging the perimeter wall and closing the aperture.

摘要： An access panel assembly for providing access to a duct through an opening in the duct. The access panel assembly comprises a sealing member, a cover member and fasteners. The sealing member fits around the opening in the duct and the cover member fits over the sealing member and coupled to the duct by the fasteners. The cover member may comprise a fire resistant panel and is formable to the shape of the duct thereby allowing the access panel assembly to be fitted to irregular shaped ducts or openings in the ducts. The access panel assembly allows easy and ready access to the interior of ducts or other air handling equipment to permit the inspection and cleansing of the interior surfaces and other interior components of any contaminants.
