    摘要: A method of forming an image comprising heating a light-sensitive material having at least a light-sensitive silver halide, a binder and a dye releasing redoc compound which is capable of reducing the light-sensitive silver halide and is capable of reacting with the light-sensitive silver halide by heating to release a hydrophilic dye on a support, under the condition substantially free from water after or simultaneously with imagewise exposure, in the presence of a compound represented by the general formula (A) described below to form imagewise a mobile dye. ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group; R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group; R.sup.2 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group, a halogen atom or a group of R.sup.1 NH; Z represents an atomic group necessary to form a carbon ring condensed to the benzene ring; n represents 0, 1 or 2; m represents 0 or an integer from 1 to 7 and m+n is not more than 7; l represents 0 or 1; and each of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be the same or different when m or n represents 2 or more, respectively.In accordance with the method of the present invention, a clear color image having a high density can be obtained by a simple procedure and the light-sensitive material has an improved stability during preservation before heat-development procedure and the occurrence of fog and the change in the maximum density are restrained.A light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least a light sensitive silver halide, a binder, a dye releasing redox compound which is capable of reducing the light sensitive silver halide and is capable of reacting with the light-sensitive silver halide by heating to release a hydrophilic dye and a compound represented by the general formula (A) above is also disclosed.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a novel blocked phenylenediamine developer useful, in reactive association, for enabling, on development, a non-magenta color, for example a cyan color, from a dye-forming coupler. In one embodiment, the developer has the property that the dye color formed with the coupler is distinctly different from the color formed by the same coupler with an oxidized form of the conventional developer 4-(N-ethyl-N-2-hydroxyethyl)-2-methylphenylenediamine. The invention is also directed to a light-sensitive silver-halide color photographic element comprising the blocked developing agent according to the present invention.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a method of processing color photographic film that has been imagewise exposed in a camera, said film having at least three light-sensitive units which have their individual sensitivities in different wavelength regions, each of the units comprising at least one light-sensitive silver-halide emulsion, binder, and dye-providing coupler, which method in order comprises: (a) thermally developing the film step without any externally applied developing agent, comprising heating said film to a temperature greater than 80null C. in an essentially dry process, such that an internally located blocked developing agent in reactive association with each of said three light-sensitive units becomes unblocked to form a developing agent, whereby the unblocked developing agent forms dyes by reacting with the dye-providing couplers to form a color negative image; (b) processing the developed film of step (a) by contacting it with a non-blocked developing agent, under agitation at a temperature of 30 to 50null C. under aqueous alkaline conditions, without forming a color negative image in the film by reaction of the non-blocked developing agent with the dye-providing couplers inside the silver-halide emulsions, and (c) desilvering said film in one or more desilvering solutions to remove unwanted silver and/or silver halide, thereby forming a color negative image; and (d) thereafter forming a positive-image color print from the desilvered film.
