    摘要: An apparatus of displaying a touch button panel for a mobile apparatus includes a first shell and a second shell. The first shell installs a touch-screen display thereon. The second shell is shorter than the first shell and the second shell is mechanically connected to the first shell so that a portion of the touch-screen display is exposed. An inner program of the mobile apparatus is provided to determine whether the second shell has a position shift or not. The exposed touch-screen display is provided to display icons of a first touch button panel when the second shell has not a position shift. The touch-screen display of the first shell is completely exposed to simultaneously display icons of the first touch button panel and icons of a second touch button panel when the second shell has a position shift.

    摘要: An ESD structure in an LCD module mounting structure in a terminal for mounting an LCD module on the inner surface of a case frame to be exposed through an opening of a predetermined size formed on the case frame. In the ESD structure, an EMI shielding is formed to be electrically connected to a main board of the terminal and grounded by coating EMI spray all over the inner surface of the case frame including a part of an overlap between the inner surface of the case frame and the LCD module. At least one through hole penetrates from the inner surface to the outer surface of the case frame at an appropriate portion of the overlap. Conductive means electrically connects the inner surface of the through hole to the EMI shielding. Therefore, externally introduced static electricity is actively grounded inside the terminal along the through hole.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a portable terminal having retractable speakers that can be used by extending outwards to both sides of the portable terminal. The portable terminal includes a main body, at least one speaker, and a hinge unit. The main body has at least one display unit arranged on a first surface of the main body and a recess formed on a second surface of the main body opposite to the first surface. The speaker is retracted into the recess. The hinge unit is arranged at an edge of the recess to connect the speaker to the main body, to extend the speaker outwards from the recess, and to retract the speaker into the recess. The speaker outputs a sound outwards from the first surface of the main body when extended. The slope angle of the speaker can be adjusted by rotating the speaker about an axis of the hinge unit when extended.

    摘要: A short-range wireless power transmission scheme is used between two movably or detachably coupled device parts in an electronic device. In a device, such as a foldable or slidable mobile phone, both device parts have some electronic components that require electronic power but only one part has a power source. For example, a phone cover has a display but there is no power source in the phone cover. A receiver can be implemented in the cover to receive microwaves from a transmitter in the phone body. The receiver and the transmitter can be arranged such that, the antennas are placed as close to each other as possible in order to achieve best efficiency of energy and data transfer. If one pair of antenna is not enough, multiple antennas or antenna arrays can be used for this purpose. Different antenna pairs can be configurable for different purposes.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a portable communication terminal wherein: an upper case is connected, at its lower end position, to a lower case so as to be slidable and rotatable about a shaft substantially perpendicular to a display screen of a display portion; the lower case has, on its inner main surface, a main operating portion equipped with various keys; and the display portion, even in a closed state of the upper case, is exposed; a shutter button is disposed on an outer side face of the lower case. The device is designed such that when the shutter button is depressed long in a closed state of the upper case, a shift is made to an imaging mode. The imaging mode allows a user to utilize the display screen of the display portion as a finder and to permit imaging in accordance with the user's operation of the shutter button. The device is also designed such that when the upper case is opened, the imaging operation is inhibited. This construction permits the display portion for communication to be utilized as a finder as well and also permits the device as an imaging function to serve in a way comparable to an ordinary camera.

    摘要: The present invention permits linear slide motion as well as rotational motion between two sheets or panels of metal. This linear rail system utilizes clinching end stays to hold a loop of wire taut in a milled or stamped slot in a sheet metal panel. The loop of wire is stretched in the milled slot, being wrapped through the undercuts of the clinching end stays. When the stays are pressed into the milled slot with the wire in place, the wire is locked in due to the cold flow of metal around it. The taut spring wire captivates a round follower with flanges above and below the wire runs. The follower is then free to move linearly and rotate in the panel. This follower is self-clinching and can attach a second sheet to the assembly by pressing a hole in the second sheet onto the follower.
