摘要： A locking mechanism to minimize access to a portion of a rack-mounted electronic device is provided. The locking mechanism includes a bar supported at one end to a first vertical post of the rack, and a locking member supported at a second end of the bar for locking to a second vertical post. In one embodiment, the bar is pivotally supported at the one end to the first post. The bar is movable between an open position where unimpeded access to a first portion of the electronic device is provided, and a closed position to restrict removal of components from the first portion of the electronic device. A clearance space may provided between the bar and the electronic device in the closed position to allow a user to access an electronic component to remove power from the component, but not to fully remove the component without unlocking the locking member.

摘要： A telescopic stay comprises a stay body including an inner arm and an outer arm into which the inner arm is slidably fitted. In order to lock the inner and outer arms in a pre-determined superposed position, a locking rod engages a locking hole in the inner arm by a locking spring disposed in a guide member attached onto the outer arm, but the guide member has a base portion passing through a flat board of the outer arm and a locking spring urges the guide member so that the base portion is forced against the inner face of the flat board portion. This requires no specific operation for securing the guide member and therefore the telescopic stay can be assembled with a reduced number of parts.

In order to lock the inner and outer arms (12, 14) in a predetermined superposed position, a locking rod (54) is engaged with a locking hole (56) provided in the inner arm by a locking spring 52 disposed in a guide member (50) attached onto the outer arm (14), but the guide member (50) has a base portion (62) provided on a cylindrical portion (60) passing through a flat board portion (14AW) of the outer arm (14) and a locking spring (52) urges the guide member (50) so that the base portion (62) of the guide member (50) is forced against the inner face of the flat board portion (14AW). In this manner, there is required no specific operation for securing the guide member (50) guiding the locking rod (54) of the telescopic stay and therefore the telescopic stay can be assembled with a reduced number of parts.

The present disclosure relates to a lock mechanism which comprises a latch assembly having a rod and an extension including a latch aperture, wherein the extension extends from the rod to position the latch aperture away from the rod. The lock mechanism further comprises a door assembly having a door aperture. Additionally, a support assembly is adjustably coupled to the latch assembly wherein the support assembly includes at least one arm which supports the latch aperture in alignment with the door aperture. The method for locking the container comprises adjustably coupling the support assembly to the latch assembly and attaching the support assembly to mount assemblies which are releasably attached to internal walls of the container. The door is moved to a closed position to position the door aperture adjacent to the latch assembly wherein the extension is in alignment with the door aperture to receive a lock.

A slide bar moves within a vertical slot in the fixed plate. Gearing within the brace mechanism turns a threaded rod at a 4:1 ratio to move a middle housing threaded to the rod in a downward direction to deploy a brace leg outwardly. By turning the brace mechanism in a reverse direction the brace leg is retracted to a position abutting the inside surface of the door.

The frame includes one or more support legs each having an upper arm slidably mounted thereon for securing between the top of the vehicle window frame and the vehicle roof. The support leg includes a lower arm for attaching to a vehicle jack rail or similar plate mounted beneath the vehicle. A locking means secures the upper arm at a select position relative to the support leg to tightly fasten the frame about the vehicle door thereby preventing an unauthorized user from opening the door.

摘要： Provided is an apparatus for use for a pivotally mounted door disposed in a wall and usually mounted within a door frame. Pivotal mounting of the door is on a hinge. The security apparatus is mounted to a door frame or wall above the door by any suitable technique and is comprised principally of two main body portions in the form of a fixed clamshell and a pivoting clamshell connected by a piano hinge. These clamshell portions enclose a few operative portions of the structure including a locking mechanism preferably comprised of a pivoting key operated lock, a pivoting lock dog, a lock dog lip and a door strike plate. The fixed clamshell is attached to the wall or door frame top by apparatus that may include large size screws or bolts, or the device may be welded thereto as desired. The attaching means is contained within the clamshell enclosure to prevent tampering therewith. The clamshell portions are formed of plates and ends to totally enclose at all times operative portions of the apparatus. Also included is a door strike plate, which is a U-shaped structure attached to the exterior of the door in proximity to the pivoting clamshell portion. Attachment is by conventional techniques including screws or bolts or by welding to the exterior of a metal door since access to the fastening apparatus is also denied the unauthorized intruder when the pivoting clamshell is locked to prevent access.

A pair of non-extensible elongated elements, such as a pair of rods or a rod and a cable, are joined together at one end such that the elements can rotate independently of one another. The opposite ends of the elements are secured to the cabin doors, at least one of the elements being selectively engagable to its corresponding door from outside the aircraft. With the device in place, the cabin doors are clamped together and cannot be opened until at least one of the elements is disengaged from its corresponding door.
