    摘要： An enclosure and enclosure locking system for an enclosure having an opening with a door or access panel utilizes first and second side mounting brackets that are each coupled to opposite portions of the enclosure. First and second locking strap members overlie the door or access panel when the door or access panel is in the closed position when in a locked condition. A staple assembly is used for receiving a shackle or lock pin of a pad lock and also for coupling the strap members together and locking the locking system 30 in a locked condition.

The device uses a cylindrical locking pin which is designed to slip underneath the door to be secured and rotated such that part of the locking pin protrudes upward to prevent the door from opening from the inside. The locking pin is secured to a base plate member and a cover plate which, when interlocked over a portion of the locking pin, is disposed to accept a conventional pad lock or similar device. The disclosed security mechanism can be folded through a hinge mechanism for convenience and can be applied or removed quickly without having access to the interior side of the door.

    摘要： A security indicator has a two part telescopic locking bar attached to the handle of a door at one end and to the door or door jamb at the other end through an end piece. The device includes a cup or tube which encases the door handle, preventing use of the handle. The length of the bar is fixed by aligning apertures in each part of the telescopic locking bar to form a continuous aperture, inserting a frangible pin through the continuous aperture and locking the frangible pin in place with a padlock received by a hole in the frangible pin. The pin has a narrow portion which can be broken by relatively little human force. The device requires someone who does not have the key to the padlock on the frangible pin to break the frangible pin to enter a door fixed with the device. A broken pin alerts the occupant that an entry has occurred during his/her absence. A sleeve normally protects the narrow portion but slides easily away to expose the narrow portion when entry is desired.

    摘要： A gang mail box for an apartment building comprising an outer frame and an inner frame. The inner frame is pivotally connected to the outer frame which is secured to a wall of the building. A number of individual mail boxes corresponding to the number of apartments are mounted on and pivotal with the inner frame. These individual mail boxes are shaped so when the inner frame is pivoted, the tops of the individual mail boxes are exposed so the mail carrier can insert mail in them. Each mail box is provided with a hinged door having an individual mail box lock. A tempered steel security bar is provided to cover and conceal the tenants' locks on the individual mail boxes to prevent theft. This bar is hinged to the inner frame and is provided with a padlock for securing the bar in place.
