    摘要： A locking mechanism comprising a lock housing mounted in a hinged unit or the like and a bolt mounted to a fixture. The housing has a hole therein for receiving an end of the bolt. The bolt end includes a locking aperture for receiving a shackle of a padlock. The padlock locks around the locking aperture and is then positioned inside housing 20 to protect the padlock from being cut or broken. The novel design of the locking aperture allows the padlock to be selectively positioned in one of three positions, and thus fit within a narrow cavity not much large than the size of the padlock.

    摘要： A device for securing an opposing pair of outwardly opening cabin doors on general aviation aircraft and the like. A pair of non-extensible elongated elements, such as a pair of rods or a rod and a cable, are joined together at one end such that the elements can rotate independently of one another. The opposite ends of the elements are secured to the cabin doors, at least one of the elements being selectively engagable to its corresponding door from outside the aircraft. With the device in place, the cabin doors are clamped together and cannot be opened until at least one of the elements is disengaged from its corresponding door.

    摘要： A lock for a pair of doors hung in a single door frame, usually an inner main door and an outer door which may be a storm door and usually includes glass or screen panels through which a caller may be observed and identified, the lock including a pair of bolts carried by the door frame and operable to be extended therefrom to engage sockets formed therefor respectively in the door edges to secure them against opening. The bolts are operated by a lock shaft carried in the door frame to unlock first the inner door, so that it may be opened to permit observation and identification of a caller, while the outer door remains locked, and then to unlock the outer door if desired, to permit ingress of the caller. The lock shaft may be operated from inside the doors by a manual lever, and from outside by a key mechanism.

    摘要： Lock-protecting hasp for trailer full swing rear doors having locking bars which secures to the bars of the rear doors and includes two mating members and a shackle lock whether the lock be key or combination. A protecting block against the lock on the female mating member protects the shackle of the lock from being cut or pried off the body of the lock, or between the shackle, the body and the lock-protecting hasp. Longitudinal opposing slots and a ribbed locking bar on the male mating member provide for adjustability between the two members for accepting door bars spaced any distance dependent upon the type of trailer. The lock-protecting hasp particularly lends itself to use on semi-trailers having full swing rear doors and the lock-protecting hasp accepts a lock of predetermined size.
