摘要： A sensor and display means useful for sensing personal appearance. The invention addresses aroma and presenting the characteristics of the aroma to the user in particular detail. The appearance sensor and display can be integrated with another device associated with determining another aspect of appearance. For example, an aroma sensor and display integrated with a mirrored compact would provide a convenient and complete means of inspecting critical aspects of personal presentation which are visual appearance and personal aroma. The display might also include an appointment book or similar functionality associated with meeting people so that the user is conveniently reminded to check their appearance as they are reminded of the meeting. Improvements in the design of the sensor based on controlling the flow and path of the aroma stream for reducing the size and cost of the aroma sensor are included in the invention.

摘要： This invention includes an applicator for hair having a brush first end and a hair arranging element second end. The intermediate portion between these two ends is used to treat hair with both of the ends without the operator giving up up possession of the instrument. The applicator is used to treat arranged groups of hair sections, section by section, each section being formed by the hair arranging element and that same section being treated by the brush by applying in applying a tinting substance to the formed section. Once the hair section has been treated, it is isolated with waterproof material, and a subsequent section is formed and treated. This continues until all of the hair has been so treated and is ready for tinting.

摘要： A method of applying cosmetic pigment powder onto an applicator structure sheet in a desired pigment pattern includes the steps of providing an applicator structure sheet formed of at least one and preferably several laterally interconnected applicator structures; providing a silk screen apparatus having a piece of stencil silk or equivalent stencil sheet material known a bolting cloth stretched across a wooden frame; dissolving conventional cosmetic pigment powder in a suspension liquid; creating a stencil including a desired pattern for one applicator structure and preferably an array of patterns for several applicator structures; placing the stencil onto the silk screen, which acts as a support; using a squeegee or equivalent device to force the pigment liquid through the open areas in the stencil and through the silk screen onto the applicator structure sheet and thereby printing the one or arrayed several patterns onto the applicator structure sheet; and removing the applicator structure sheet from the apparatus. A second method includes steps of printing a desired pigment material in a desired pattern onto the sheet with an electrostatic printing apparatus.

摘要： A hair grooming brush with a plurality or rows of curved wavy bristles, rather than traditional straight bristles found on brushes and combs. The curvature of the bristles produces a springiness to the bristles when pressure is applied during the combing action. The springiness of the numerous rows of bristles, translates into a massaging effect upon the hair and scalp. Rows of curved bristles are more effective at untangling the hair. The three different sections of the bristle, the lower, middle and tip sections, can be either straight or curved. Additionally the rows can alternate between various formations of bristles.
