    摘要: The disclosure is of a facsimile machine having a carrier for a sheet of paper, the carrier comprising a cylinder having a longitudinal band secured thereto by springs so that the band is normally pulled downwardly onto the surface of the cylinder. A sheet of paper is rolled about the cylinder, with one end of the sheet of paper held securely between the band and the cylinder.The cylinder is mounted on a machine frame which includes a cover plate which is pivotally mounted over the paper-holding cylinder. The cover is provided with a finger which serves no purpose when the cover is closed, but, when the cover is opened, the finger engages a bracket which itself engages the longitudinal band to lift it from the surface of the cylinder to permit a sheet of paper to be inserted or removed.

    摘要: A nonrotatable tumbler cam mechanism is positioned coaxially with the transfer cylinder on the operator''s side of the press and is movable axially thereto. A cam actuated device is provided on the transfer cylinder for tumbling the perfector and two color grippers inwardly to transfer the trailing edge of the sheet from the perfector grippers to the two color grippers. A cam follower on the cam actuated device is actuated by the tumbler cam mechanism. A pair of gripper actuating cams are coaxially and nonrotatably mounted relative to the transfer cylinder on the drive side of the press. One of the pair of cams, referred to as a two color cam, is arranged to open and close the two color grippers for two color printing and the other of the pair of cams is arranged to open and close the perfector grippers and the two color grippers for perfector printing. The pair of cams, i.e., the two color cam and perfector cam, are secured to each other and movable axially relative to the transfer cylinder. The perfector grippers and two color grippers have a cam follower associated therewith that is actuated by either the two color cam or the perfector cam. The two color and perfector cams are connected through a lever mechanism to an actuator device that is arranged to move the pair of cams axially relative to the transfer cylinder. The tumbler is also connected to the actuator device located on an exterior portion of the press so that the actuator device simultaneously moves the pair of gripper actuating cams and the tumbler cam to adjust the transfer cylinder for either the two color or perfector printing.

    摘要: A sheet-fed printing press has a feeder, a deliverer and at least one sheet guiding cylinder which is arranged between the feeder and the deliverer. The sheet-fed printing press also is a gripper system and is assigned to a digital printing device. A first sheet guiding device receives sheets from the sheet guiding cylinder. The object of the sheet-fed printing press is to provide such a sheet-fed printing press which can be used in a relatively variable manner and by way of which, in particular, a relatively great spectrum of different products can be produced. This object is accomplished by virtue of the fact that the first sheet guiding device is configured for the selective transfer of the sheet to a second sheet guiding device, which transfers the sheets to the sheet guiding cylinder, or for the transfer to the deliverer. The second sheet guiding device is configured as a turner device and can switched over between an operating mode, in which it turns the sheets, and an operating mode, in which it feeds the sheets, in a non-turned state, to the sheet guiding cylinder.

When a sheet is located between the first sheet guide and the protuberance of the second sheet guide, the protuberance extends at least a portion of the sheet toward the first sheet guide to bring a part of a surface of the sheet into contact with the first sheet guide.
