    摘要: A closure device includes a door carrying a series of interconnected shear blocks and a keystone shear block designed to transfer stresses created by pressure acting on the door to a surrounding hub. Each interconnected shear block has a limited rotation relative to its adjacent blocks. A holding band operating handle is in communication with a driving link which, in turn, is in communication with the keystone shear block. Actuating the handle causes the keystone shear block to move in an upward vertical direction. The linear movement of the keystone shear block allows the limited rotation of the interconnected shear blocks to occur, thereby causing the circumferential holding band to collapse within itself from an expanded-engaged position to a contracted-removed position relative to said hub. A pressure warning lock provides a safety device and prevents actuation of the holding band operating handle when the pressure chamber is under pressure.

    摘要: The invention relates to a closure system for pressure vessels, the closure consisting of a cover and of two clamp halves each of which can be moved into closing or open position by means of guiding elements. The clamp halves, the cover, and the pressure vessel housing being equipped with stop surfaces, the stop surfaces of the clamp halves being opposite to those of the cover and of the pressure vessel housing in closing position. The closure system is especially suitable in cases where an entirely automatic closing device is required for pressure vessels having an operating pressure of more than 10 bar.The clamp halves are connected by means of tensible flexible bearings to guiding elements to allow for a cover movement in axial direction. The tension of the flexible bearings is sufficient for automatic resetting of the clamp halves into zero position after depressurization of the vessel.

    摘要: A flange closure formed of a flange body having a cylindrical opening therethrough and having in the opening a concentric internal groove, a cylindrical closure plate for removably closing the opening in the flange body, the closure plate being removable and sealably positionable in the flange opening, a pair of cam plates each hingedly affixed to the closure plate, each of the cam plates having a peripheral edge portion configured as a segment of a circle substantially equal to the diameter of the flange internal groove, and a cam plate actuator removably attachable to said closure plate, the cam plate actuator engaging said cam plates, the actuator is rotated in one direction to forceably retract the cam plates so that the segmented circular edges are within the diameter of the closure plate and when the actuator is rotated in the other direction to extend the cam plates so that the semi-circular edges extend within the flange groove to retain the closure plate in position within the flange opening.
