    摘要: A vehicular lamp and injection mold and manufacturing method for lamp bodies for producing a plurality of different types of vehicular lamps while resulting in a reduced cost of manufacturing due to sharing of a common injection mold. A lamp body of a tail lamp, for example, includes a reflective surface for reflecting light from a light source bulb forward and is formed with a bulb attachment hole for mounting the light source bulb constituted by an insert-molded surface. That is, part of a reflective surface of the lamp body is formed by an insert-molded surface molded with a cavity surface of an insert constituting a part of a fixed mold of an injection mold. To change to molding a different type of lamp body, it is only necessary to change the insert.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a highly efficient light emitting diode with directional properties comprising a light cavity of semiconductor material. A portion of the surface of the light cavity acts as a parabolic shaped reflector. A light generation zone is located substantially at the focal point of this paraboloid reflector. The light out-coupling interface of the cavity is close to the focal point allowing both downward and upward generated photons to escape from the semiconductor cavity. Photons reach the out-coupling interface in perpendicular way within the out-coupling cone of the semiconductor-surrounding medium interface.

    摘要: A reflector for projection systems and spot (image projecting) luminaires is molded in separate sections and then assembled into a unitary reflector. Forming the reflector in separate sections reduces the amount of contact surfaces between the reflector and the mold die which in turn substantially reduces the risk of damage or breakage of the reflector section. Each reflector section includes alignment features to assure correct alignment of the sections upon assembly. The reflector sections are formed with edges that mate with edges of an adjacent reflector section along seams to prevent light from showing through the seams. The mating edges preferably include light-blocking features formed by a geometric shape along the seams.

    摘要: An automobile reflector assembly includes a reflector having reflective protrusions extending from a reflective surface thereof, and a plurality of light emitting diodes disposed adjacent to the reflective surface. A lens is disposed over the reflector and light emitting diodes. In one form, the lens includes a plurality of domes for reflecting at least a portion of the light emitting from the light emitting diodes onto the reflector so as to disperse the light. The reflector includes a plurality of generally conical depressions underlying each lens dome and surrounding a light emitting diode. In another form, apertures are formed in a circumferential wall of the reflector so as to accept light emitting diodes therethrough in an orientation generally perpendicular to the circumferential wall. The reflector includes a central multi-faceted cone having concave depression formed in each facet, and multiple ridges for directing the light to the lens.

Light emitted from a light source bulb is reflected by a reflector to form an outward beam.
