Abstract: In an example embodiment of the disclosed technology, a modular pod lighting system for plants may comprise a light containment enclosure, which may further comprise a light panel with one side configured to emit light, wherein the light panel may be configured to hang from an above structural element in a relatively horizontal orientation. The modular pod lighting system for plants may further comprise side reflection curtains attached to opposing edges of the light panel, wherein the reflection curtains may extend downwards away from the light panel. The light containment enclosure may be configured to partially enclose plants therein, and wherein light emitted from the light panel may be partially contained and recycled within the light containment enclosure. The light containment enclosure may further comprise bottom reflectors disposed on top of plant containment devices.

Abstract: Systems and apparatuses are described for portable, solar-powered power generation. The systems and apparatuses include a plurality of solar panels affixed to a shipment container or box similar thereto. The solar panels may be stored within recesses along the sides of the shipment container and protected by protruding frames extending along the outer perimeters of the shipment container sides. The solar panels may be maneuvered via manual or power-aided systems for positioning the solar panels for receiving sunlight to facilitate the solar-powered power generation. The solar-generated power is controlled by an electrical control system for regulating and monitoring the generated power. A telescopic pole including an electrical load (e.g., a plurality of lights) may be raised upward from within the shipment container, and the generated solar power may be directed to the lights for providing illuminance to a surrounding area. Other loads may be powered by the system, as desired.

Abstract: The rotating multi-socket light fixture may be used in combination with a ceiling panel or the like, allowing for changing of light bulbs for a recessed light, for example. The rotating multi-socket light fixture includes a plurality of light bulb sockets mounted circumferentially on a wheel for respectively removably receiving a plurality of light bulbs. The wheel is mounted on, and rotationally driven by, a rotational drive motor. The rotational drive motor is mounted on a vertical support such that the rotational drive motor may be vertically adjusted with respect to the vertical support. A vertical drive motor may be mounted on an upper end of the vertical support for selectively driving vertical translation of the rotational drive motor with respect to the vertical support. A lower end of the vertical support is mounted on an upper surface of the ceiling panel, such that the vertical support extends upwardly therefrom.

Abstract: An adapter for changing LED light bulbs can have a threaded fitting for attachment to the pole of an existing light-bulb changer. The adapter has a body, preferably formed of a rigid material such as a rigid plastic. The body has multiple teeth to engage the spaces between the cooling fins of the LED light bulb. The light bulb can then be unscrewed from its socket and lowered using the pole and the adapter. A new light bulb can be placed on the teeth, raised, and screwed into the socket.
