摘要: An arrangement in a recovery boiler having a furnace for combusting waste liquor and a flue gas duct comprising vertical flue gas channels, at least part of which is provided with heat recovery units for recovering heat from flue gases. The heat recovery units have a width of substantially the width of the flue gas duct, whereby downstream of the furnace the first flue gas channel is provided with a superheater. In addition to the superheater, the first flue gas channel is provided with one of following heat recovery units: an economizer, a boiler bank, or a reheater. The superheater and a second heat recovery unit are located one after the other in horizontal introduction direction of the flue gas, so that in a flue gas channel the flue gas flows in the vertical direction downwards and heats the superheater and the second heat recovery unit simultaneously.

摘要: The invention provides a hydrogen boiler based on coal gasification and water decomposition, including a steam boiler which includes an upper furnace and a lower furnace; water and steam in the upper furnace are respectively communicated with water and steam in the lower furnace; and the steam boiler is provided with a casing which has a narrow gap for containing water and a wide wall for heating to generate gas. The steam boiler contains multistage reactors. A coal modification and gasification device is provided at an outer side of the steam boiler and is provided with two chambers. The steam and gasified gas of coal are mixed and enter the reactors for direct burning to promote respective reactions. After several stages of modification and decomposition, the steam and the gasified gas of coal are completely converted to hydrogen.

摘要: An arrangement in a recovery boiler having a furnace for combusting waste liquor and a flue gas duct including vertical flue gas channels, at least some of which are provided with heat recovery units for recovering heat from flue gases. The first flue gas channel downstream of the furnace is provided with a reheater and one of the following heat recovery units: an economizer or a boiler bank. The reheater and the second heat recovery unit are located one after the other in the horizontal incoming direction of the flue gas, so that in a flue gas channel the flue gas flows in a vertical direction from above downwards and heats the reheater and the second heat recovery unit simultaneously. The heat recovery elements of the reheater and the second heat recovery unit may be positioned side by side in a direction that is crosswise with respect to the horizontal incoming direction of the flue gas.

摘要: A boiler system having a series of boilers. Each boiler includes a shell having an upstream end, a downstream end, and a hollow interior. The boilers also have an oxidizer inlet entering the hollow interior adjacent the upstream end of the shell and a fuel nozzle positioned adjacent the upstream end of the shell for introducing fuel into the hollow interior of the shell. Each boiler includes a flue duct connected to the shell adjacent the downstream end for transporting flue gas from the hollow interior. Oxygen is delivered to the oxidizer inlet of the first boiler in the series. Flue gas from the immediately preceding boiler in the series is delivered through the oxidizer inlet of each boiler subsequent to the first boiler in the series.

摘要: A boiler system having a series of boilers. Each boiler includes a shell having an upstream end, a downstream end, and a hollow interior. 摘要: A boiler system for producing steam from water includes a plurality of serially arranged oxy fuel boilers. Each boiler has an inlet in flow communication with a plurality of tubes. The tubes of each boiler form at least one water wall. Each of the boilers is configured to substantially prevent the introduction of air. Each boiler includes an oxy fuel combustion system including an oxygen supply for supplying oxygen having a purity of greater than 21 percent, a carbon based fuel supply for supplying a carbon based fuel and at least one oxy-fuel burner system for feeding the oxygen and the carbon based fuel into its respective boiler in a near stoichiometric proportion. The oxy fuel system is configured to limit an excess of either the oxygen or the carbon based fuel to a predetermined tolerance. The boiler tubes of each boiler are configured for direct, radiant energy exposure for energy transfer. Each of the boilers is independent of each of the other boilers.

摘要: The invention relates to a process and apparatus for the production of thermal and electric energy in a pulp mill, in particular a sulfate pulp mill, according to which process and waste liquor of the cellulose pulp cooking liquor is concentrated, and this concentrated liquor is burned in the recovery boiler in the presence of biogenic fuels, in which case the thermal energy is recovered from the flue gases from the combustion, and this thermal energy is, when so desired, converted to electric energy. According to the invention, the biogenic fuel used is wood bark or similar waste wood, which is dried to a moisture content below 30%, whereafter it is gasified to fuel gas, which is fed into the recovery boiler. The process according to the invention makes the acquisition of a separate bark boiler in pulp mills completely unnecessary, which significantly lowers the investment costs. The process simplifies the apparatus, its operation and maintenance, and improves energy efficiency.
