    摘要: A chemical recovery boiler (100), including a furnace (1), comprising a front wall (2), a back wall (3), and the back wall (3) comprising a nose arch (4). The boiler further comprises at least one superheater (5) arranged in upper part of the furnace (1), and a screen pipe system (6), comprising an obliquely arranged screen pipe section (7) positioned before/under the at least one superheater (5) in the furnace (1). The obliquely arranged screen pipe section (7) comprises screen pipes (8) ascending (i) either from the front wall (2) to the back wall (3), and arranged to turn back in a turn (13) from the back wall (3) and extend obliquely upwards from the back wall (3), or (ii) from the back wall (3) to the front wall (2), and arranged to turn back in a turn (13) from the front wall (2) and extend obliquely upwards from the front wall (2). The screen pipe system (6) further comprises a vertically arranged screen pipe section (9) extending from the obliquely arranged screen pipe section (7). The screen pipes (8) of the vertically arranged screen pipe section (9) are arranged to extend parallel with the at least one superheater (5) in upper part of the furnace (1).

    摘要: An otherwise conventional recovery boiler for burning black liquor (e.g. with a consistency of between about 70-90%) requires less capital investment and takes up less space by constructing the economizers in a particular manner. At least first and second economizers are provided for preheating feed water utilizing flue gas from combustion of the black liquor. The economizers are positioned substantially adjacent each other and connected in such a way that flue gas leaving the first economizer passes substantially directly (i.e. without going through a conventional accessory passage) into the second economizer. The economizer inlets and outlets are substantially at the same level as the adjacent economizer outlets and inlets, or vertically spaced less than about one-third the length of the previous economizer. A boiler bank may be connected between the superheater section of the recovery boiler and the first economizer, and any number of economizers can be utilized. The flue gas flowing through one economizer are turned after exiting so that it flows in a substantially opposite direction while passing through the adjacent economizer.

    摘要: In a steam generator having a convective part arranged downstream of the furnace chamber and essentially consisting of final superheater (1), pre-superheater, evaporator and economizer connected in series on the flue-gas side, a further contact heat exchanger (5) having a plurality of tube banks (10) is arranged upstream of the final superheater (1). This contact heat exchanger (5) is connected to the steam drum (6) in such a way that it can be operated as both an evaporator and a superheater. The working medium to be heated flows in parallel from the bottom to the top through the tube banks (10), as a rule arranged vertically or inclined, of the contact heat exchanger in the evaporator circuit and flows in series through said tube banks (10) of the heat exchanger in the superheater circuit.

    摘要: An outdoor wood-fired furnace which heats water for domestic use and provides heat is disclosed. The furnace has a water jacket, sides, top and ends. A main distribution chamber is provided for air on its bottom with outlet means to the firebox. The water jacket includes a large containment area in the top and an L-shaped baffle, having a horizontal leg and a vertical leg. Behind and above this L-shaped baffle is a similarly shaped air space which provides a passage between the baffle and the liquid cooled rear wall and the container for hot gases from the firebox to enter a flue. Means is provided to emit air from the main distribution chamber side through pipes to the fire.

    摘要: A heating boiler comprises separate furnaces for oil and solid fuel. The oil combustion chamber can be connected directly to flues in contact with water via an afterburning chamber (11) common to the two furnaces. The connection (22) between the oil-combustion chamber (8) and the afterburner chamber can be shut off by a damper (25). Instead a connection is opened between the oil combustion chamber and the furnace (9) for solid fuel via an ash compartment and a grate (20) under the furnace for solid fuel. Through the arrangement with the damper (25) a number of possible variations can be obtained depending on the actual heat requirements.
