摘要： A sling system for attachment to a firearm using conventional sling-mounting studs, or for attachment to luggage, and including a molded plastic connector portion attached permanently to a strap portion by being molded in place onto an end of the strap portion. The strap portion may be of tubular cloth enclosing a padding element that is adhesively attached to the interior of the tubular cloth portion. The connector portion of the sling includes a pair of legs each defining one of a pair of collinear bores to receive a swivel pin extending between the legs to attach the connector to an article to be carried.

摘要： A sling for use with a fiream. The sling includes a rigid body having a pivotable connector front end, a releasable connector back end, and a firearm engagement section located between the front and back ends. The rigid body is shaped to form a loop for receiving a user's shoulder once the front end is affixed to the hand grip section and the back end is affixed to the butt section. Furthermore, the rigid body is shaped such that as the back end of the rigid body is released from the butt section and the rigid body is pivoted on the pivotable connector, the firearm engagement section is brought into contact with the firearm to allow the back end of the rigid body to be planted and thus support the firearm during firing.

摘要： The attachment device for rifle slings comprises two eye parts (2) arranged on the stock or barrel (1) of the rifle, each with a transverse hole (3), through which a retaining pin (8) can be stuck. At each end of the rifle sling (4) there is provided a sling sleeve (5). In the middle of each sling sleeve (5) there is provided a recess (7) extending in the longitudinal direction of the sling and into which can the eye part (2) can be inserted. Each retaining pin (8) can be stuck directly through the sling sleeve (5) and has a transverse opening (9) in the vicinity of each of its two ends, through can be pulled a retaining thong (10) attached to the rifle sling (4).

摘要： An assembly for fastening a sling to the front portion of a military rifle or other shoulder weapon in an orientation facilitating carrying such a weapon at the carrier's side in an upright orientation, with the longitudinal axis of the weapon generally horizontal. A main body includes a forked end which fits on a bayonet lug and a bored opposite end which can be attached in a sling swivel mounting position on the weapon. A rotatable pedestal holds a sling swivel on one side of the weapon, where it is rotatable and pivotable about different axes. A second sling swivel can also be installed to one form of the assembly in the conventional military orientation. The construction of the assembly can be integrated into the structure of a front sight assembly.

摘要： This disclosure is directed to a sling for a rifle, shotgun or the like which is formed of a web of material folded upon itself to define first, second and third web portions with the second web portion being sandwiched between the first and third web portions, the sling being so folded as to have first and second overfolded opposite ends each carrying a connector for connecting the sling to a rifle, shotgun or the like, the first web portion passing through a loop, a third overfolded end portion entraining the loop at a point between the first and second overfolded end portions, and the loop being connected to one end of the web whereby the first web portion can be drawn selectively in opposite directions through the loop to increase or decrease the overall length of the sling and after any such adjustment, the first web portion is frictionally gripped in the loop area by the frictional engagement between the first web end and the third overfolded end portion.

摘要： A sling and pouch assembly for attachment to a carbine, without requiring existing sling swivels and without modifying the carbine. The sling assembly includes a front swivel having a hook which fits beneath the existing barrel band of the carbine. The rear swivel is attached to one side of a cuff which fits around the stock adjacent the butt plate. The cuff assembly includes one or more pouches for storing ammunition or the like.
