The mounting structure secures the handgun to the long gun, the handgun is spaced apart upright and parallel to one side of the long gun, the long gun and the handgun concurrently point downrange along the first and second sight lines, respectively, the first and second sight lines are not obstructed by the mounting structure, and the handgun is accessible by hand for holding and discharging the handgun without interference from the mounting structure, when the first rail socket and the second rail socket are releasably secured to the respective rails of the long gun and the handgun.

摘要： A portable, quick-release shooting stabilization assist clamp designed for quick and easy, single-handed attachment and detachment on to a shooting rail or similar solid object. Once attached to an object, the clamp supports a firearm fore-stock, forend, frame, stock, or barrel allowing the user a steadier aim for more accurate shot placement. The clamp provides the capacity of a rapid attachment and detachment by using a spring clamp design. In its preferred embodiment, the clamp provides a rest with two angled prongs, above the pivot of the spring clamp, to help to easily place and retain the gun on the clamp. In alternative embodiments, multiple rests are provided as well as movable, pivoting rests. In addition to assisting shooters and hunters, the clamp could also be used to stabilize a camera, telescope, small video camera, or other device that is enhanced by stabilization.

The firearm rest further includes a cross-beam extending generally along the lateral direction between the first arm and the second arm. The cross-beam has a position along a vertical direction in the extended position that is above a position of the cross-beam along the vertical direction in the retracted position.

摘要： A method of using an apparatus that improves aiming accuracy with manually operated firearm provides a means to support the front part of the firearm's barrel and moving the barrel in parallel with the movements of the firearm's butt. Small rotations of the firearm's muzzle are measured by high resolution angular position sensors and rectified by moving the muzzle mount of the apparatus in horizontal and vertical directions which result in rotation opposite to the measured deviation from correct aiming direction, thus preserving the orientation of the manually operated rifle parallel to desired aiming direction.

The gun stock retainer includes an opening in a base material and a retaining strap including a nonslip material operable to engage the stock and pull the stock into the base material and the opening. The gun rest includes a knee cup shaped to conform to a front of a wearer's knee, a knee strap to hold the knee cup to the wearer's knee, and a cradle attached to the knee cup and sized to receive a fore-end of a gun. The inclined seat pad is generally wedge-shaped and is attached or releasably attached to a back portion of fabric of the garment via a hinge.
