    摘要: A sealed cooling system includes a coolant tank having a liquid space configured to hold liquid coolant, and a gas space configured to hold gas. A temperature sensor detects the temperature of the liquid coolant. A pressure sensor detects the pressure in the coolant tank. A processor compares the pressure in the coolant tank to predicted pressure in the coolant tank as a function of liquid coolant temperature. The processor determines and outputs a signal indicative of a leak in the sealed cooling system if the pressure in the coolant tank deviates from the predicted pressure in the coolant tank according to predetermined criteria.

    摘要: The disclosure is directed to a pressure sensor of an implantable medical device. The pressure sensor may utilize detect fluid pressure based on a changing capacitance between two capacitive elements. The pressure sensor may define at least a portion of a fluid enclosure of the IMD. In one example, the pressure sensor has a self-aligning housing shape that occludes an opening in the pump bulkhead of the IMD. An operative surface of the pressure and the portion of the fluid enclosure may be formed of a corrosion resistant and/or biocompatible material. A first capacitive element of the pressure sensor may be a metal alloy diaphragm that deflects in response to external fluid pressure. A second capacitive element of the pressure sensor may be a metal coating on a rigid insulator sealed from the fluid by the diaphragm and a housing of the sensor.

The travel path may include a first stop and a second stop. In an example, a device is determined to be outdoors. In response to determining that the device is outdoors, a calibration process associated with a barometric sensor of the device is performed. The calibration process includes performing one or more barometric measurements using the barometric sensor to determine one or more barometric pressure measures, determining one or more locations of the device, wherein the one or more locations are associated with the one or more barometric measurements, and determining a barometric offset based upon the one or more barometric pressure measures and one or more reference values. An adjusted barometric pressure and/or an altitude of the device is determined based upon a first barometric pressure measure and the barometric offset.

    摘要: A pressure sensor assembly includes a pressure sensor having a support structure and a sapphire isolation member coupled to the support structure and forming a region between a first surface of the sapphire isolation member and the support structure. A second surface of the sapphire isolation member has a sapphire etch surface formed thereon and is positioned to interface with fluid from or coupled to a process. A process seal is positioned against the second surface of the sapphire isolation member to prevent fluid from passing by the pressure sensor assembly. Electrical leads couple to a polysilicon strain gauge pattern positioned in the region on the first surface of the sapphire isolation member, and the polysilicon strain gauge pattern is configured to generate electrical signals indicative of the pressure of the fluid when the sapphire isolation member deflects responsive to the pressure.
