    摘要: A particle separating system for supplying a cam shaft phase adjuster with cleaned lubricating oil. The phase adjuster includes a stator, a rotor connectable to a cam shaft, and a control valve for hydraulically adjusting the rotational angular position of the rotor relative to the stator. The particle separating system includes an oil separator arranged in the flow of the lubricating oil, upstream of an oil gallery of an engine supplied with the lubricating oil, exhibiting a separation efficiency of at least 50% for particles having a size P1 and a separation efficiency of at least 90% at a size P2>P1; a particle separator arranged downstream of the oil separator and upstream of the phase adjuster or control valve, to clean the lubricating oil for the phase adjuster.     摘要: A ring filter element has a filter medium body flowed through radially form an interior of the filter medium body to an exterior of the filter medium body. A bypass valve is provided that is adjustable between a blocking position, separating a raw side at the interior of the filter medium body from a clean side at the exterior of the filter medium body, and an open position, connecting the raw side of the filter medium body with the clean side of the filter medium body. The bypass valve is arranged in an axial direction of the filter medium body at least partially external to a first axial end face of the filter medium body and extends radially at most up to the clean side of the filter medium body. The ring filter element is employed in a filter device of a crankcase.

    摘要: A filter cartridge having an endplate formed of polyurethane having a varying hardness is described. A first portion of the endplate is harder than a second portion of the endplate. The first portion of the endplate helps support the filter media of the filter element and maintain the shape of the filter element. The second, softer portion creates a seal between the filter element and a filter housing when the filter element is installed in the filter housing. The first portion and separate portions may be formed from different types of polyurethane or from the same type of polyurethane having a varying composition as a function of the radial distance of the endplate.

    摘要: A valve-sensor assembly for a filter assembly that filters water from a fluid. The valve-sensor assembly includes a sensor body and a drain valve body. The sensor body includes a filter element engagement portion having a hollow interior that extends longitudinally through a length of the sensor body and a protrusion that extends circumferentially along an exterior surface of the filter element engagement portion. The sensor body further includes one or more water-in-fluid sensors provided at the exterior surface of the filter element engagement portion. The drain valve body includes a main body having a drain port, and a valve extending from the main body and extending at least partially within the hollow interior. The valve has an interior passage in fluid communication with the drain port.
