摘要: Detergent compositions effective for controlling hard water scale accumulation are disclosed. Detergent compositions employing phosphinosuccinic acid and mono-, bis- and oligomeric phosphinosuccinic acid (PSO) derivatives with alkali metal carbonate and/or alkali metal hydroxide reduce had water scale accumulation on treated surfaces at alkaline conditions between about pH of 9 and 12.5. Methods employing the detergent compositions and preventing hard water scale accumulation are also provided.

摘要: An aqueous cleaning composition for removing paraffin, asphaltene, and scale deposits or plugs from a hydrocarbon system. The aqueous cleaning composition is formed of a cleaning composition and an aqueous liquid. The cleaning composition contains about 21-33% of a silicate, about 20-35% of a peroxygen, about 3-15% of a phosphate, about 15-40% of a carbonate or bicarbonate, about 1-10% of a chelating agent, about 1-5.5% of a surfactant combination. In one embodiment, the surfactant combination includes a surfactant polymer mixture containing a block polymer and a reverse polymer, and a wetting agent containing a sulfonated material or an ethoxylated alcohol.

摘要: Alkaline or neutral viscoelastic cleaning compositions are disclosed which use non polymer thickening agents. According to the invention, cleaning compositions have been developed using viscoelastic surfactants in a neutral, acidic or alkaline cleaning formulations. These provide the dual benefit of thickening as well as an additional cleaning, thereby improving performance. Applicants have also identified several pseudo linking agents which when, used with viscoelastic surfactants provide viscoelasticity in alkaline cleaning compositions.

摘要: The invention relates to compositions, methods of use, and methods of manufacture for an intercalated bleach compound and compositions thereof. The intercalated bleach compound has the formula Mx(OCl)y(O)m(OH)n where M is an alkaline earth metal such as magnesium, calcium or mixture thereof. The values of x and y independently equal any number greater than or equal to 1 (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.), and m and n independently equal any number greater than or equal to 0 (e.g., 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.), but m and n are not both 0. In addition, the molar ratio of the alkaline earth metal (e.g., magnesium or calcium) to hypochlorite is at least 3:1. In other words, x is ≥3y. The compounds exhibit excellent stability, little or no chlorine bleach odor, exhibit excellent pH buffering characteristics, and less reactivity with organic materials as compared to alternative chlorine bleach products.

摘要: The invention discloses a multiphase detergent tablet (1), comprising a first detergent phase with at least one contact-unsuitable, in particular caustic, irritant, toxic or hygroscopic component and a second detergent phase to cover the first detergent phase, wherein the second detergent phase essentially contains no contact-unsuitable components, in particular no caustic, toxic or hygroscopic components, optionally also no irritant components and whereby the detergent tablet comprises at least three stacked layers, with a first layer (10) of the second detergent phase; a second middle layer (12) of the first detergent phase and a third layer (14) of the second detergent phase, wherein at least a part of a region of the contact-unsuitable first detergent phase that is not covered by a layer of the second detergent phase is provided with a water-soluble protective film. The invention further describes a method of manufacturing such a multiphase detergent tablet (1) and its use to clean kitchen appliances, particularly in commercial kitchens.

摘要: The present invention is a dimensionally stable solid detergent composition which can be used as a soaking composition. The composition includes a bio-based content of 58% or greater and includes an alkalinity source, a metal protector, a surfactant system, water, a threshold agent, and a polysaccharide hybrid polymer composition. The polymer the polysaccharide hybrid polymer composition includes a polysaccharide residue present in an amount from approximately 5% to 90% by weight of the polysaccharide hybrid polymer composition and a residue of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer or salts thereof present in an amount from approximately 10% to 75% by weight of the polysaccharide hybrid polymer composition.
