摘要： A track-mounting assembly secures a longitudinally extending rail direction to a substrate and has a frame fixed to the substrate and a track plate fitted in the frame. A vertically throughgoing aperture of the frame has an inner edge formed by a longitudinally extending gauge surface directed transversely toward a field side of the assembly and a transversely oppositely directed and longitudinally extending field surface. The track plate carries the rail and has an outer edge is itself formed by a longitudinally extending field surface spacedly transversely confronting the gauge surface of the aperture and a longitudinally extending gauge surface spacedly transversely confronting the field surface of the aperture. The field surface of the track plate is of substantially greater area than the gauge surface of the aperture. An elastomeric mass fills between the frame and the track plate.

摘要： A railroad grade crossing system includes an integral concrete pad that has a pair of spaced-apart cavities located in its upper surface. The cavities have planar bottom surfaces that support rails with their heads flush with the top surface of the pad. The cavities have outer side walls that conform to the shape of the rails. The rails are placed in the cavities against the outer side walls and are secured in place by a rail anchor system. The remainder of the cavities are filled with elastomeric liners that have outer side walls that are shaped to conform to the shape of the rails. The inserts are held in place in the cavities by frictional engagement between bulbous gripping heads, secured to anchors located in the pads, that frictionally interfit into conforming holes located in the inserts.

摘要： A rail-tie fastening assembly for fastening a rail to a concrete tie comprising a rail seat assembly and a rail anchor. The rail seat assembly includes a rail seat basin and a rail seat wherein the rail seat is disposed in the rail seat basin and bonded thereto with an elastomeric material having a void formed therein between the bottom of the rail seat and the bottom of the rail seat basin so as to produce a shear spring which transfers applied vertical load from the rail to the tie. The rail seat assembly is embedded in the tie and the rail anchor is adapted to engage a portion of the rail and to interlock with the rail seat assembly so as to cooperate with the rail seat assembly to fasten the rail to the tie.

摘要： A precast concrete grade crossing includes a plurality of base members, each of which has a central recess formed in the upper surface thereof. A pair of rails are each encased by a rubber boot which extends through the crossing in a single continuous piece. The boot-encased members are received in the recess which includes a shoulder along the outer side of each rail. The shoulder bears against a lip of the boot which extends upwardly to along outer side of the head of the rail to prevent moisture from entering the space between the boot and the rail below the shoulder.

The trackwork fastener (10) is modularly constructed and includes a top plate (20), resilient end portions (12) and (16), optional resilient center portion (14), and securing elements (18). The special trackwork fastener (10) has the versatility to be used in a large number of special trackwork situations such as turnouts, crossovers, crossings and switches or the like, which require a variety of lengths of trackwork fastener (10). The vertical compression stiffness and adjustability in length is provided by two opposed end portions (12),(16) and an optional center portion (14) which is molded or cut to length such that the portions collectively match the length of the top plate (20) and therefore the top plate (20) is fully supported along its length. The elastomer portions can be cored out to provide the desired compression stiffness.
