摘要： A switch device for vehicle use is provided with a switch case fixed to a handle bar of a vehicle. A unit case attached to the switch case is capable of rotating with respect to the switch case. An operation lever arranged in the unit case is capable of rotating together with the unit case. The operation lever is capable of operating a predetermined electrical component. The unit case can be freely rotated over a plurality of positions of use at which the operation lever can operate a predetermined electrical component. An object to be operated by the operation lever is made to be different according to a stopping position of the unit case.

摘要： A variable output device is mounted on a mounting unit with the operating shaft displaceable. An operating unit for transmitting the operation of the user to the operating shaft is mounted on the operating shaft relatively movably along the direction of the axis of the operating shaft, on the one hand, and in an operatively interlocked fashion along the direction of displacement of the operating shaft, on the other hand. A holding member is arranged in opposed relation with the mounting unit with the variable output device interposed therebetween. An elasticity applier urges the operating unit away from the variable output device. The holding member is provided with an operating hole. The holding member is arranged at a position in opposed relation with the mounting unit with the variable output device and the operating unit interposed therebetween. The operating unit elastically urged by the elasticity applier is brought into contact with the peripheral edge portion of the operating hole of the holding member in opposed relation with the operating hole.

摘要： An index rotary switch includes a housing, stationary contact members, a rotor contact member, and a pushbutton-operated actuator device. The stationary contact members are disposed within the housing for defining an infinite number of alternately achieved on-and-off positions. The rotor contact member is disposed for rotation within the housing for wipingly engaging the stationary contact members. The rotor contact member is formed with a rectangularly-shaped flat portion and a plurality of resilient L-shaped arms extending downwardly from respective edges thereof. The L-shaped arms have arcuate-shaped contacts formed upon their free ends so as to wipingly engage the stationary contacts. The actuator device is disposed within the housing and is operatively connected to the rotor contact member for sequentially rotating the rotor contact member so that the arcuate-shaped contacts alternately index with respect to the on-and-off positions upon successive actuations of the actuator device.

摘要： For each phase to be switched, there is provided at least one pair of fixed contacts consisting of an upper fixed contact and a lower fixed contact as well as one rotary or movable contact. The rotary or movable contact is supported on a support made of insulating material. The support is also rotatable. To reduce the torsion moment or torque required for turning the rotary contact to a minimum, the rotatable support possesses, in the vicinity of the rotary or movable contacts, a cranked or bent section in the form of a crank shaft in which an open-ended recess or aperture is provided for each contact. There recesses or apertures carry the rotary or movable contact. Each rotary or movable contact projects at both ends beyond the associated recess or aperture and the axis of rotation passes through one end section of the rotary or movable contacts as well as the end section of one of the fixed contacts.

摘要： An electrical meter apparatus wherein the elements of construction of the meter are so constructed as to not warrant any significant amount of precision in manufacture. A selector knob is connected to a switch rotor with a switch rotor being mounted upon a panel bushing which is fixedly connected to the meter housing. A limited amount of canting movement is permitted along with the normal rotative movement between the switch rotor and the panel bushing. The switch rotor is connected in a non-precision manner with a socket and a plug. The plug is loose fittingly connected within an opening in the printed circuit board of the meter. A limited amount of canting movement of the plug is capable of occurring with respect to the printed circuit board. A single electrical contact member is fixed to the panel bushing and includes on opposite sides thereof resilient electrical contact elements which are to physically contact the printed circuit board and tend to maintain the plug in axially alignment within the opening.

摘要： A multi-position rotary switch comprising a support structure having a shaped shaft rotatably mounted therein, the shaft being formed with reduced sections to provide shaped portions on opposite sides of each reduced section. A rotor is slideably mounted on at least one of the shaped portions of the shaft and a detent is fixed to another shaped portion of the shaft for cooperating with the support structure to establish multiple angular operating positions for the switch. The rotor travels on a stator to establish electrical connections in the operating positions of the switch. The rotor comprises two substantially identical parts facing one another and a coupling sleeve engages the rotor parts and couples them together in fixed relation. By virtue of the reduced sections of the shaft, the shaped portions can be individually angularly turned by applying force thereto in order to adjust the relative positions of the rotor, stator, pawl, etc.
