Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to signaling of direct current (DC) locations of user equipment devices (UEs) in a new radio (NR) network are provided. A wireless communication device receives, from a base station, at least one of a carrier aggregation (CA) configuration or a bandwidth part (BWP) configuration. The wireless communication device determines a direct current (DC) location based on at least one of the CA configuration or the BWP configuration. The wireless communication device transmits, to the base station, a report based on the determined DC location. The wireless communication device communicates, with the base station, a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) configured based on the report.

Abstract: A configuration for a UE that measures CLI to determine the reception timing of the CLI signal transmitted from a UE in another cell. Aspects of a method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium are presented herein that provide a solution to the problem of measuring CLI signals by improving the manner in which a wireless device determines the reception timing of a transmitted CLI signal. An apparatus receives a first downlink signal from a first base station. The apparatus receiving a second downlink signal from a second base station. The apparatus determines a CLI signal measurement from a second UE received at the first UE based on a propagation delay difference, the propagation delay difference being based on the first downlink signal and the second downlink signal.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) determines an occurrence of a triggering event for providing negative acknowledgment (NACK) based feedback for a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) transmission. The apparatus monitors for the SPS transmission. The apparatus transmits a NACK if the SPS transmission is not successfully received and refrains from sending an ACK if the SPS transmission is successfully received based on the occurrence of the triggering event for providing NACK based feedback. The base station determines an occurrence of a triggering event for a UE to provide NACK based feedback for an SPS transmission. The apparatus transmits the SPS transmission and determines that the UE successfully received the SPS transmission based on an absence of a NACK from the UE for the SPS transmission.

Abstract: Since multiple transmit-receive point (TRP) communications may increase the number of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates without increasing the number of cells, new limits for multi-TRP communications may be defined. A UE may determine a PDCCH monitoring capability across all downlink serving cells that may account for multiple-TRP cells and for carrier aggregation and dual connectivity using a multiplication factor for serving cells with two control resource set (CORESET) groups, for signaling a number representing PDCCH monitoring capability across all downlink serving cells. Further, the UE may determine limits of a number of serving cells based on the capability and a configuration of serving cells. The UE may determine a total limit and a per cell limit of PDCCH candidates and non-overlapped control channel elements (CCEs) to monitor in a slot for a cell group. The UE may perform blind decoding operations within the limits.

Abstract: In embodiments of systems and methods for managing communication between a wireless device and a base station, a base station may transmit Remaining Minimum System Information (RMSI) Downlink Control Information (DCI) indicating time and frequency resources for RMSI. A wireless device may receive a Channel State Indicator-Reference Signal (CSI-RS) based on the time and frequency resources for RMSI and may select a sub-beam of a beam associated with a synchronization signal block (SSB). The wireless device may send to the base station an indication of the selected sub-beam associated with the SSB in a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) message. The base station and the wireless device each may then perform an initial access procedure using the selected sub-beam to enable the wireless device to establish a communication link with the base station.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a message indicating multiple control resource sets (CORESETs). Each CORESET of the multiple CORESETs comprising one or more quasi-co-location (QCL)-Type-D properties and associated with a respective physical downlink control (PDCCH) monitoring occasion of overlapping PDCCH monitoring occasions. One or more respective PDCCH candidates corresponding to the respective PDCCH monitoring occasion. The method also includes receiving, on one or more component carriers (CCs) operating on a same band, simultaneous beams comprising multiple PDCCH candidates. The method further includes monitoring a set of PDCCH candidates of the plurality of PDCCH candidates comprising a first CORESET of the multiple CORESETs comprising a first QCL-Type-D property, a second CORESET of the multiple CORESETs associated with a second QCL-Type-D property, and a set of monitoring CORESETs of the multiple CORESETs. Each of the monitoring CORESET associated with one or both of the first QCL-Type-D property or the second QCL-Type-D property based on a number of QCL-Type-D properties of a respective monitoring CORESET. In some examples, the first CORESET is a highest priority CORESET based on a set of priority rules.
