Abstract: Methods and systems for remote support of autonomous operation of vehicles have been disclosed. State indicators are generated by a first state display based on state data from a portion of vehicles assigned to a respective first level control station. A second state display is generated for a second control station and displays state indicators for the state data of the vehicles. A remote support interface including the first state display and image data received from a first vehicle of the vehicles is generated. Instruction data to the first vehicle is transmitted using the remote support interface and based on an indication that the first vehicle needs remote support, the instruction data modifying the autonomous operation of the first vehicle. A workload between the first level control stations is allocated by assigning the vehicles using the state indicators of the second state display.

Abstract: An off-road vehicle speed control assembly that includes a speed control device, a speed sensor, tire pressure sensors and an electronic controller. The speed control device controls speed of a vehicle power plant. The electronic controller is in electronic communication with the speed control device, the speed sensor and the plurality of tire pressure sensors and is configured to operate the speed control device in at least two different modes of operation: a normal mode in which the plurality of tires are inflated to a high-speed tire pressure; and, a first off-road mode in which the plurality of tires are inflated to a first off-road tire pressure that is less than the high-speed tire pressure. In the normal mode, speeds of the vehicle are unrestricted by the electronic controller. In the first off-road mode, speed of the vehicle is restricted.

The electronic heating unit has an electrical connector configured to be electrically connected to another electrical connector of a vehicle center console to draw electrical power from the another electrical connector to power the heat source.

Abstract: A system includes a battery, an engine, and a processor. The processor is configured to plan, according to a model, an activation action of the engine of a vehicle for a next road segment subsequent to a current road segment; and activate, for the next road segment, the engine according to the activation action. The model includes a state space that includes a navigation map, which includes the current road segment of the vehicle, a current charge level of the battery, and whether the engine is currently on or off. The activation action is selected from a set comprising a first action to turn on the engine to charge the battery and a second action to turn off the engine.

Abstract: A vehicle receives sensor data from at least one of its sensors as it approaches an intersection and determines whether a traffic flow control device for the intersection is detected. When detected, a detected type, a detected state, or both of the traffic flow control device is determined. Using a type of the intersection, at least one of an existing type or an existing state of the traffic flow control device is determined, where the traffic flow control device is undetected or the detected type, the detected state, or both are determined with a detection confidence less than a defined level of detection confidence. The traffic flow control device is tagged with a label including its location and existing type, the existing state, or both within at least one control system for the vehicle. The vehicle is operated within vehicle transportation network using a control system that incorporates the label.
