摘要: The dispensing cap/cup (26) has a sidewall (100) and a transverse web (102) spanning the sidewall to create a cup structure. The sidewall has an interior surface and an exterior surface. The sidewall has a plurality of fill level indicia (140, 142) along the interior surface. The fill level indicia comprise a raised boundary (150) and texturing (152) within the boundary.

摘要: An electronically processed single-step test device for detecting the presence of a preselected analyte in a fluid. The device includes a hollow rectangular outer casing, disposed within co-joined upper and lower sections of the casing are assay material, an electronic processing system, and a display. The display is observable through a viewing window. The assay material is a sorptive material including a fluid sample application region in the form of a sample wick in fluid communication with a test strip. The test strip includes an analyte capture region adjacent to a light shield. The system includes lights which are alternately pulsed or energized over predetermined periods of time to determine if fluid test results show a marker or markers in the capture region indicative of the presence of a preselected analyte in the fluid. If so, Yes+ is displayed on the display otherwise, No− is displayed on the display.

摘要: Bacillus strain compositions and methods for reducing growth of one or more mastitis-causing organisms and/or reducing a symptom, sign, or occurrence of mastitis in animals are provided. The Bacillus strain composition can comprise a bacterial cell, a spore, a forespore, and/or a combination of cells, spores, and/or forespores of Bacillus subtilis 839, Bacillus subtilis 4976, and/or an active variant thereof. Compositions and methods provided herein can be applied to beddings of animals, such as dairy cows, and can reduce symptoms, signs, and/or occurrences of mastitis (e.g., environmental mastitis) in the animals and/or reduce somatic cell count in the milk produced by the animals. Beddings for animals comprising the Bacillus strain compositions provided herein in an effective amount to reduce growth of one or more mastitis-causing organisms are also provided.
