Abstract: An inductor device and a method of fabricating the same. The inductor device according to the invention includes a conductive coil, a pillar and a cladding body. The pillar is molded from a plurality of first composite material powders by a pressing process. Each first composite material powder is composed of a first magnetic material powder coated with a first thermosetting resin. The cladding body is molded from a plurality of second composite powders. Each second composite material powders is composed of a second magnetic material powder coated with a second thermosetting resin. The first weight ratio of the first thermosetting resin to the first composite material powders is less than the second weight ratio of the second thermosetting resin to the second composite material powders. The cladding body and the conductive coil and the pillar cladded by the cladding body are heated to a curing temperature.

Abstract: A key switch includes a base, a key cap, a supporting mechanism, a link bar and a buffer member. The key cap is disposed above the base. The supporting mechanism is connected to the key cap and the base to allow the key cap to move relative to the base upwardly and downwardly. The link bar includes a lower linking end. The buffer member and the base are two independent components. The buffer member is disposed on the base and made of material softer than material of the base. A restraining structure is formed on the buffer member. The lower linking end movably passes through the restraining structure. When the key cap moves relative to the base upwardly and downwardly, the lower linking end is driven to move within the restraining structure correspondingly, so as to reduce noise during movement of the lower linking end relative to the base.

Abstract: A key switch includes a base, a key cap, a first support member and a second support member. The key cap is disposed with respect to the base. The first support member and the second support member are disposed between the key cap and the base. The first support member has a first linkage structure. The second support member has a second linkage structure. The first linkage structure and the second linkage structure abut against each other, such that the first support member and the second support member rotate synchronously with respect to a horizontal axis. When one of the first support member and the second support member horizontally moves with respect to the other one of the first support member and the second support member within a predetermined range along the horizontal axis, the first linkage structure and the second linkage structure keep abutting against each other.

Abstract: A light-emitting keyswitch includes a board, a lifting mechanism and a cap structure. The cap structure is assembled with the lifting mechanism to be movable upward and downward relative to the board and includes a cap and a light-emitting layer. The light-emitting layer includes first and second pad layers disposed on a lateral contour surface of the cap and spaced from each other, a lower electrode layer, a dielectric layer, an electroluminescent layer, an upper electrode layer and a transparent pattern layer stacked on a top surface of the cap, and an external trace structure. The lower and upper electrode layers are connected to the first and second pad layers respectively. The external trace structure is connected to the first and second pad layers for transmitting power to the upper and lower electrode layers, so as to drive the electroluminescent layer to emit light to the transparent pattern layer.

Abstract: A button switch includes a base having a pillar, a cover disposed on the base, a sleeve, an arm adjacent to the pillar and an elastic member having upward-force-applying, extending-rod, and flexible-rod portions. The sleeve jackets the pillar, passes through the cover, and has first and second ribs. The upward-force-applying portion jackets the pillar and abuts against the sleeve and the base to drive the sleeve to move away from the base. The extending-rod portion extends from the upward-force-applying portion to be connected to the flexible-rod portion located under the first rib. When the sleeve is located at a high position, the second rib biases the arm to deform. When the sleeve is located at a low position, the second rib is misaligned with the arm. The flexible-rod portion crosses the first rib to be released and then collides with the cover to make sound as the sleeve is pressed.

Abstract: A keyswitch includes a cap, internal and external sleeves, a resilient arm, a base having a pillar, and an elastic member abutting against the internal sleeve and the base. The internal sleeve jackets the pillar, abuts against the cap and has a first outer annular surface with a transverse slot. The external sleeve jackets the internal sleeve and has a protruding block movably inserted into the transverse slot for guiding the external sleeve to rotate and a second outer annular surface having concave and convex portions and an arc-shaped bar. When the resilient arm abuts against a second position on the convex portion and the cap presses the external sleeve, the resilient arm crosses the arc-shaped bar. When the resilient arm abuts against a first position on the convex portion and the cap presses the external sleeve, the resilient arm does not need to cross the arc-shaped bar.

Abstract: A keyswitch uses a combination of springs connected in serial for providing a return force to a keycap of the keyswitch. When the keycap moves toward a base of the keyswitch beyond a transition position, one of the springs stops continuously deforming. It leads to an increment of the elastic coefficient of the combination of springs and an increment of the elastic stored energy by the combination of springs. Therefore, during a pressing on the keycap, the keycap can provide a light force feedback and then a heavy force feedback to a user. Further, the keyswitch can use a switch with a lateral motion, which can reduce influence of a resilient force produced by the switch on the up and down movement of the keycap. The keyswitch also can use an elastic piece disposed beside the keycap, which can provide a tactile feedback to the user.
