    Abstract: A centrifugal pump assembly includes an electrical drive motor (4, 6), an impeller (14) which is driven by the electrical drive motor (4, 6) as well as with at least one valve element (18) which is directly or indirectly movable along a first movement path between at least two switching positions, by the electrical drive motor (4, 6). At least a part of the valve element (18) is additionally movable along a second movement path which is different to the first movement path, between a released position, in which the valve element is distanced to at least one contact surface and a bearing position, in which the valve element bears on the at least one contact surface.

    Abstract: A centrifugal pump assembly includes an electrical drive motor (4, 6), an impeller (14) which is driven by the drive motor and a pump casing (12) surrounds the impeller and including two branches (27, 32, 34). A movable valve element (18) is arranged in the pump casing and is movable between two switching positions, in which the flow paths through the two branches (27, 32, 34) are opened to a different extent. The valve element (18) is configured and arranged in the pump casing (12) such that it separates a suction chamber (24) which is connected to a suction side of the impeller (14) from a delivery chamber (26) which is in connection with the delivery side of the impeller (14). The valve element (18) is mechanically and/or hydraulically coupled to the drive motor (4, 6) for at least a movement between the two switching positions.

One or more vibration sensing element(s) (16) is/are arranged in the housing (4). The sensor assembly (2) includes a calculation unit (84) configured to receive sensor signals (V1, V2, V3) from the vibration sensing element(s) (16) and perform calculations and thereby detect motor bearing faults and cavitation.

    Abstract: An electronic circuit (1), in particular DC-link circuit, has a high side DC voltage level, an input and an output, the electronic circuit comprising a DC-link capacitor (4), an inrush circuit (3), for limiting an input current to a predetermined level, connected between a supply line (6) of the DC-link capacitor and the input. The inrush circuit includes a charge resistor element (Rc), a switch element (9), connected in parallel with the charge resistor element, and a control (7, 8) controlling the switch element. The control is adapted to turn the switch element on when the input current falls below a predetermined current level. The control includes a trigger control element (8) adapted to detect a differential voltage across the switch element and to turn the switch element off when the detected differential voltage rises above a predetermined threshold voltage. A method is provided for operating the electronic circuit (1).

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a magnetic gear comprising a first magnetic rotor with a first shaft; and a second magnetic rotor with a second shaft; a support structure, with a first end shield and a second end shield connected by a stat or support element. A first bearing attached to the first end shield supports the first shaft and a second bearing supports the second shaft. The first and second magnetic rotors are displaced in axial direction from each other in an axial gap; and the first shaft and shaft are approximately aligned in opposite axial directions; and a plurality of magnetic flux conductors encircles the first and second magnetic rotors, thereby conducting magnetic flux from the first magnetic rotor to the second magnetic rotor. The magnetic gear comprises a dividing wall arranged in the axial gap between the first magnetic rotor and the magnetic second rotor, to separate a first chamber from a second chamber.

    Abstract: A pump assembly includes an electrical drive motor (2) and an impeller which is connected to the drive motor (2) via a shaft (14). The shaft extends between the drive motor (2) and the impeller, through a seal arrangement with a fluid reservoir (22). A method is provided for detecting a concentration change in a fluid reservoir in the seal arrangement in the pump assembly. A concentration sensor (30) detects a concentration change in the fluid reservoir (22), and a second sensor (32) detects at least one further parameter of the fluid reservoir (22). The sensors are arranged on the fluid reservoir (22). The sensors are connected to an evaluation device (22). The evaluation device (34) is configured to carry out an evaluation of at least one reading of the concentration sensor (30), taking into account at least one reading which is detected by the second sensor (32).

    Abstract: A control method controls a power converter circuit. The power converter circuit includes at least one inductive element (L) storing an output energy, a charging switch (C) for charging the inductive element (L), a releasing switch (R) for releasing the stored output energy from the inductive element (L) and for charging the inductive element (L) with a compensation energy and an output capacitor (Cout) saving the released output energy. The compensation energy is used to achieve Minimized Voltage Switching (MVS) condition when switching on the charging switch (C). A turn on time (te, tdis) of the releasing switch is adjusted by a closed-loop control of a compensation control variable (Vaux)) measured in the power converter circuit or of a characteristic value (Vsample) derived from this compensation control variable (Vaux)), and a respective power converter circuit.
