摘要: An antenna is provided having a relatively simple structure as arranged capable of operating at desired frequencies. The antenna has a chassis having a grounding conductor provided as a bottom surface, a ceiling conductor provided as a top surface opposite to the grounding conductor, and side conductors provided as antenna sides. At least one opening is provided in a part of said chassis, which opens for radiation of electric waves. A feeding point provided on the grounding conductor for connection to a power supply via a predetermined feeding line from the outside. An antenna element connected to the feeding point at one end while being connected to the ceiling conductor via a frequency selectable circuit at the other end, and surrounded by the side conductors.

摘要: Urethane-modified polyester resin which has a total acid value not greater than 10 KOH mg/g and is obtained by kneading, in a molten state, a base polyester resin (A) having an acid value of 5 to 20 KOH mg/g and a hydroxyl value of 40 to 70 KOH mg/g, a low-molecular-weight polyester resin (B) having an acid value not greater than 5 KOH mg/g, a hydroxyl value not greater than 10 KOH mg/g and a weight-average molecular weight of 3,000 to 5,000 and a polyisocyanate compound, wherein components (A) and (B) are at a weight ratio of 3 to 5:7 to 5 and the polyisocyanate compound is in an amount of 0.2 to 1.2 equivalent, in terms of an isocyanate group per equivalent, of the total hydroxyl groups of all the resins.

摘要: There are disclosed a compound represented by the following general formula I wherein R represents a cyclic hydrocarbon group, and n represents 0 (zero) or an integer not less than 1, as well as &bgr;-glucosidase inhibitor, aromatic substance formation inhibitor, plant life lengthening agent, each of which contains at least one of compound represented by the aforementioned general formula I as an active ingredient, and plant or a part thereof in which formation of aromatic substance is inhibited by the aforementioned aromatic substance formation inhibitor. The present invention provides a novel compound that has &bgr;-glucosidase inhibition activity and can easily be produced in an industrial process, as well as a &bgr;-glucosidase inhibitor and aromatic substance formation inhibitor each containing such a novel compound as an active ingredient, and plant or part thereof in which the formation of aromatic substances is inhibited by the aforementioned aromatic substance formation inhibitor.

摘要: A disk-shaped conductor 22, a ring-shaped conductor 24 and a ring-shaped conductor 26 are arranged in that order on the same plane. One end of a linear conductor 21 is connected perpendicularly to the center of the disk-shaped conductor 22, and the outer edge of the disk-shaped conductor 22 is connected to the inner edge of the ring-shaped conductor 24 via an anti-resonance circuit 23. Moreover, the outer edge of the ring-shaped conductor 24 is connected to the inner edge of the ring-shaped conductor 26 via an anti-resonance circuit 25. Due to the anti-resonance circuits 23 and 25, electrical blocking can be attained, so that an electromagnetic wave of a first frequency f1 is excited by the system extending from the linear conductor 21 to the disk-shaped conductor 22, an electromagnetic wave of a second frequency f2 is excited by the system extending from the linear conductor 21 to the ring-shaped conductor 24, and an electromagnetic wave of a third frequency f3 is excited by the system extending from the linear conductor 21 to the ring-shaped conductor 26. Thus, a small monopole antenna can be attained that has a simple structure and can be operated at a plurality of frequencies.

摘要: A small-sized wireless device has a whip antenna and a receiver for receiving a call. The whip antenna is provided at the upper side of the rear face of the small-sized wireless device body to improve the antenna performance in a state where a person holds the body to communicate. A rib is provided at a portion of the rear face of the small-sized wireless device body in order to prevent the degradation of the antenna characteristics of the whip antenna at the time of placing the small-sized wireless device body on a metal plate and the like. According to such an arrangement, good sensitivity of the whip antenna can be obtained even when the small-sized wireless device body is placed on a metal plate.

摘要: Although conventional antennas have characteristics suitable for mobile radio base stations, their vertical dimension is large, and locations of their installation are limited. A radiator for an first upper antenna 32 is arranged in a hollow nonconductive radome 2, using an internal conductor 7a and a metal pipe 10. A radiator for a second lower antenna 34 is arranged in the radome 2, using metal pipes 14 and 15. Two parasitic elements 31 are installed substantially in parallel with the first antenna 32 below a feeding point 9. Two parasitic elements 33 are installed substantially in parallel with the second antenna 34 above a feeding point 13. These allow the tilt angle to be freely set between -10.degree. and +10.degree. by adjusting the parasitic element length and the antenna to be reduced in size.

This apparatus further comprises means (24) for moving a pair of the X-ray source and the detector around an object in a state where the X-ray source and the detector are opposed to each other with the object located therebetween, means (54) for sequentially storing, as frame data, the electrical signal outputted by the detector, means (56) for producing a panoramic image of a desired section of the object based on the frame data, and means (56, 57, 58) for producing a partial sectional image using the frame data, the partial sectional image being an image of a partial region specified on the panoramic image and being focused depending on a desired position in an imaging space.

摘要: A radiation imaging apparatus is provided. The apparatus has moving means moving a pair of an X-ray tube and a detector relatively to an object. The apparatus further has means which acquire digital frame data outputted from the detector. The frame data are acquired from the same portion being imaged of the same object at different time points. The apparatus has means which use the frame data to produce a plurality of three-dimensional optimally focused images at the respective time points, an actual position and shape of the portion being imaged being reflected in the images, and means which estimate changes of the plural three-dimensional optimally focused images.
