Abstract:
A method for storing a conversation upon a user's real-time request in a Converged-IP Messaging (CPM) service is provided. The method includes storing a conversation in a message storage server on a network or stopping the storage of the conversation upon a user's request. A target that can be stored within a conversation includes a pager mode message, a large message, and media delivered through the session. In this manner, media in the conversation may be limited to media selected by a user.
Abstract:
A method is provided for transferring a session between multiple devices by a target device, in which the target device selects a particular session of a source device and sends a request for session transfer for the selected session to a call server, the target device acquires from the call server data that has been transmitted from the remote party's device of the particular session and temporarily stored in the call server after the session transfer request, and the target device sends a message indicating completed acquisition of the temporarily stored data to the call server, and receives the particular session transferred in response thereto.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and system for establishing a session for a Push to Talk (PTT) over Cellular call (PoC). In the method, when an answer (response) mode of a PoC server and a PoC client are not in accordance with each other, an error message is transmitted to the receiving PoC server Moreover, call processing for a PoC call is improved by inserting a new data field indicating an automatic answer of a server into a payload of a Real-time Transport Protocol (RTCP) message, and a function of the terminal is extended using an added data field when the answer modes of the corresponding PoC server and PoC client are not in accordance with each other.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a session control method in a Converged Internet Protocol (IP) Messaging (CPM) server for supporting a CPM session between a first client subscribing to a CPM service and a second client not subscribing to the CPM service, the session control method includes, after the CPM session is initiated between the first and second clients through the CPM server and an Interworking Function (IWF), receiving a session modification request message including specific media from the first client; sending the session modification request message including the specific media to the IWF through the initiated CPM session; and receiving a response message from the IWF, the response message including a reason for a rejection of the session modification request message including the specific media.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for managing multimedia messages. If receiving a request to set a retrieval reminder for a specific multimedia message from an MS, an MMS relay/server sets a reminder time for the specific multimedia message to a reminder time included in the request to set the retrieval reminder. If a current time corresponds to the reminder time, the MMS relay/server notifies the MS of retrieving the specific multimedia message. If receiving a request to extend an expiry time of the specific multimedia message from the MS, the relay/server sets the expiry time of the specific multimedia message to an expiry time included in the request to extend the expiry time.
Abstract:
An apparatus, method and system for device management of a mobile communication terminal are provided. Various errors which may occur in the mobile communication terminal are monitored by the mobile communication terminal and are corrected remotely. In the method, the mobile communication terminal receives DiagMon policies from a DM server and stores the DiagMon policies in real-time in which the DiagMon policies are constructed in response to various errors. The mobile communication terminal monitors then the status of the mobile communication terminal according to periods set in the DiagMon policies. When a trouble is detected to occur, the mobile communication terminal collects detailed information related to the occurred trouble and transmits the detailed information to the DM server. The mobile communication terminal receives DiagMon correction information capable of correcting the occurred trouble from the DM server and corrects the trouble, and therefore normalizes the terminal.
Abstract:
Provided is a multimedia messaging automatic reply service method and system. The method includes in a multimedia messaging service relay/server, storing and setting an automatic reply message in response to a request for setting the automatic reply message from a predetermined mobile communication terminal; and in the multimedia messaging service relay/server, upon reception of a multimedia message to be transmitted to the predetermined mobile communication terminal, comparing transmission conditions each set to at least one or more automatic reply message, which is set in response to the request of the predetermined mobile communication terminal, with a sender and a priority of the received multimedia message, and selecting and transmitting one automatic reply message to the multimedia message sender.

Abstract:
A method for automatically sharing an application among a plurality of clients according to the present invention comprises the following processes: receiving, from a request client, an application share request signal for sharing an application with an object client; receiving information on the capability of the object client; determining whether the application for which sharing has been requested and the object client are compatible with each other using the receiving information on the capability of the object client; and providing the object client with the application for which sharing has been requested in accordance with the result of the determination.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a multimedia message service method and system for sharing and searching for multimedia messages stored in an MM box. The MMS client has the possibility to associate an access mode (“public”, “restricted”, or “private”) to any multimedia message stored in or uploaded to an MM box. When a multimedia message is permitted to be shared, the MMS clients who have been granted access to the multimedia message can be notified of the shared multimedia message. When the MMS client requests to view or retrieve a multimedia message, the MMS relay/server checks if the MMS client has been granted permission to access to the multimedia message. If the MMS client has been granted permission to access to the multimedia message, the MMS relay/server allows the MMS client to access the multimedia message.
