    摘要: As a user interacts with a voice application, a history of the prompts played to the user and the users responses are displayed to the user. The displayed prompts and displayed responses could be summaries of the prompts and responses, or they could be full transcriptions of the prompts and responses. A user may be able to select a prompt or response in the history to return to a certain point in the voice application. It may be possible for a user to save a history of the interactions that occurred when a voice application was performed, and to recall the history to continue on from a selected location in the history.

The home-link gateway manages communications at the home location, for example between a PSTN or VoIP telephone network and local telephone handsets. A remote client agent requests access to telephone services, via the Internet. Following authorization and registration, the home-link gateway couples the remote client agent to the telephone network, or to local handsets, as though the remote client agent were deployed at the home location.

    摘要: An enhanced services display message protocol (ESDMP) facilitates display of messages in a compliant analog telephony device (ATD). An exemplary gateway device in a voice over packet (VOP) network can activate enhanced services in a compliant ATD using the ESDMP and includes a controller and first and second interfaces. One of the interfaces can transmit and receive communications over a VOP network. The other interface can transmit and receive voice band message data modulated according to a frequency shift keying (FSK) protocol. The ESDMP can be used to configure the gateway to activate features supported by the ATD, to update call state information and to display feature state information.

    摘要: A network infrastructure device in a voice over packet (VOP) network includes a transceiver and a processor. The transceiver can transmit and receive communications over a VOP network. The processor, responsive to receipt of a call setup information request (CIReq) specifying a particular target, can associate a public identifier with the particular target, and map the public identifier to an internet protocol (IP) address responsive to a communication. Also, the processor can identify communications to and/or from the particular target with the IP address. Further, responsive to receiving communications to and/or from the IP address, the processor can transmit the communications to a law enforcement agency (LEA) collection device.

    摘要: A system and method are provided for improving the throughput of wireless networks, such as IEEE 802.11 networks. Individual devices in the network determine the level of activity on the network. In the event that the network is active, the devices increase throughput by skipping the pending packet transmission and appending its data payload to a future packet transmission. By encoding multiple payloads in a single packet transmission, packet overhead is reduced and MAC layer delays are eliminated. The data payloads are subsequently split back into individual packets for transmission over the wired portion of the network.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a method for transmitting messages to components in a wireless communication system using a server process. In an embodiment of the present invention, the wireless communication system is a set of interconnected nodes with a main circuit board connected to zero or more components. To transmit a message to a component in the wireless communication system, the message is first encapsulated with a reference label that is associated with a component to which the message is to be sent, i.e., destination component. Upon encapsulation, the message is then transmitted to a destination node, which is a node on which resides the destination component. At the destination node, a server process determines an address for the destination component using the reference label. In one embodiment of the present invention, the address of the destination component is determined by the server process using a mapping table containing information correlating reference labels to addresses of components in the destination node.
