摘要: A method for automatically assigning individual topological addresses to network switches includes obtaining first individual topological addresses each of which includes one identifier of a hierarchical level and N−1 non-hierarchical identifier(s) of the network switch with which it is associated, N≥2. It further includes the transcoding of each first individual topological address by subdividing the N−1 non-hierarchical switch identifier(s) as a function of a value of the hierarchical level identifier into one or more sub-topology identifiers separated from one another by at least one first separator character, forming a first character string, and into one or more switch identifier(s) separated from one another by at least one second separator character, forming a second character string. A second hierarchical individual topological address is thus constituted by concatenation including the first and second character strings, as well as a third separator character therebetween.

摘要: In one embodiment, packets are forwarded in a network based on multiple compact forwarding identifiers represented in a single 128-bit Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) address, such as, but not limited to being in the destination address field of the IPv6 header (e.g., possibly in an extended IPv6 header). One embodiment follows the forwarding order of these multiple compact forwarding identifiers by respectively placing them in the single IPv6 address from high-order to lower-order bit positions. In one embodiment, a compact forwarding identifier prefix is part of the address represented by each compact forwarding identifier, typically with the compact forwarding identifier prefix stored in the highest-order bit positions. One embodiment uses a longest prefix matching operation to match the compact forwarding identifier to be used in determining how to next process the packet.

A source ID generating module for generating a correlation ID/source ID based on the service location identify in order to serialize the payload and establish a connection with the server. The electronic switching system proposed herein operates external to the cloud environment by effectively generating the correlation identity with respect to a client device accessing the server in a cloud environment. The system also switches, integrates and executes client communications to an appropriate server in the cloud environment using the correlation ID.

One example method includes generating a request for a first protocol address record of a name that has been assigned an address in accordance with a second protocol, causing the request to be sent to a domain name system server, and analyzing a response to the request for the first protocol address record to determine whether the domain name system server generated a synthesized address for the name in accordance with the first protocol. The computing device receives a data access request for a data object and determines a first revision number of a corresponding set of EDSs stored among first SU(s) and a second revision number of a corresponding trimmed copy of the set of EDSs stored among second SU(s). When the second revision number compares favorably to the first revision number, the computing device issues the data access request to the first SU(s) and/or the second SU(s) and issues the data access request for the data object to only the first SU(s) when it doesn't.

In one aspect of the present disclosure, a media access control address of a communication interface is converted to an Internet Protocol address for a logical entity associated with the communication interface. When the apparatuses and methods of the present disclosure receive a communication signal including the converted Internet protocol address, the communication signal is provided to the logical entity associated with the Internet protocol address. In another aspect of the present disclosure, a user input received at a communication interface is mapped to an Internet protocol address to send a request to a logical entity.

An apparatus of a high-efficiency wireless local-area network device is disclosed. The apparatus including transceiver circuitry and processing circuitry configured to receive a frame and determine whether the frame is a frame transmitted from a basic service set (BSS) or a frame transmitted from an OBSS based on one or more media access control (MAC) addresses of the frame. The MAC address may include an indication of a BSS of the HE wireless device. If the HE wireless device is an access point, then a second part of the MAC address may be a predetermined pattern, the second part of the MAC address may be a formula applied to a first part of the MAC address, or an individual/group bit of the MAC address may be set.

摘要: A system and method for video conferencing over a secure communication link is disclosed. In various implementations, the system is configured connect to a communication network, store a plurality of network addresses of devices of registered users, each device of a registered user having an application program for conducting video conferencing between, the client device and the target device, and establish a secure communication link between the client device and the target device. The secure communication link is established in response to a query (a) generated by the client device and (b) including an identifier associated with a network address of the target device, the establishment of the secure communication link being based on a determination that the target device can accept a secure communication link connection with the client device. Video conferencing is conducted over the secure communication link connection between the client device and the target device.
