    摘要: A system for sampling groundwater from a well that includes a pump configured to be at least partially submerged in the groundwater within the well and pump the groundwater out of the well, a sensor configured to output a signal indicative of the depth of the groundwater in the well, and a controller in communication with the sensor. The controller is configured to receive the signal indicative of the depth of the groundwater from the sensor and compensate for groundwater ingress into the well by adjusting a rate of flow of groundwater pumped by the pump based on the signal to stabilize the depth of groundwater in the well while the pump is pumping groundwater from the well.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a pneumatically driven fluid pump apparatus having an outer pump housing for collecting liquid to be pumped, and a valve assembly in communication with liquid admitted through an inlet end of the outer pump housing and collecting within the outer pump housing. The valve assembly includes a housing assembly and a poppet valve assembly disposed within the housing assembly to act as a one-way check valve when pumping collected liquid out from the outer pump housing. The poppet valve assembly includes a poppet valve component including a relief area that helps to depressurize an interior area of the valve assembly, to facilitate rapid movement of the poppet valve element from an open position toward a closed position, when only a pressurized fluid flow being used to eject the collected liquid is flowing past the poppet valve component.

    摘要: A pneumatically driven fluid pump apparatus is disclosed which includes a pump casing having an inner wall, a pump cap secured at a first end of the pump casing, and a liquid discharge tube in communication with the pump cap and extending at least partially within an interior area of the pump casing toward a second end of the pump casing, and where fluid is admitted into the pump casing at the second end. The pump cap has an airflow inlet for receiving a pressurized airflow from an external pressurized air source, which helps displace liquid collecting within the pump casing upwardly through the liquid discharge tube. A flow channeling subsystem is in communication with the airflow inlet and directs the pressurized airflow towards the inner wall of the pump casing to create a swirling airflow within the pump casing that extends along at least portions of the inner wall. The swirling airflow entrains fluid within the pump causing the fluid to move in a circumferential swirling fashion toward the second end of the pump casing, which helps to clean the inner wall of the pump casing.

    摘要: A well cap assembly is disclosed which is well suited for use with a wellhead. The well cap assembly has a port component and a cap element. The port component has a bore extending therethrough, an upper neck portion, and an upper threaded portion. The port component further has a lower threaded portion and a barb formed on the upper neck portion. The barb can receive an external flexible tube which is temporarily secured to the port component. The cap element has an internally threaded portion which engages with the upper threaded portion of the upper neck portion and seals the bore of the port component. The cap element also has a tether for securing it to the port component.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a self-regulating, landfill well control system for automatically controlling a flow of landfill gas (LFG) through a wellhead associated with a landfill well at a landfill. The system has a combination unit operably associated with the wellhead, with a valve actuator, a flow measurement element and a controller. The valve actuator controls a LFG flow control valve, to thus control an LFG flow through the wellhead. The flow measurement element produces differential pressures proportional to a LFG flow rate. The controller controls the valve actuator and, based on data obtained using the flow measurement element, adjusts a setting of the LFG flow control valve to obtain a specific control point setting, and automatically maintains the control point setting thereafter.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a modular fluid pump system for configuring a fluid pump in a selected one of first and second configurations. The system may have a first pump casing with a first diameter, and a second pump casing with a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. A tubular frame may be included along with a first float having a first diameter positioned over the tubular frame for sliding longitudinal movement along the tubular frame. The first pump casing may be used to configure the fluid pump in the first configuration, to thus provide a first degree of clearance between the first float and an inner surface of the first pump casing, or alternatively the second pump casing may be used to configure the fluid pump in the second configuration, which provides a second degree of clearance between the first float and an inner of the second pump casing.

    摘要: A liquid level control pump especially well adapted for use in landfill wells is disclosed. The pump makes use of a pump casing, a discharge tube, a control rod, first and second check valves, a float and a pivoting lever assembly for controlling the application of a pressurized fluid from an external pressurized fluid source. In one aspect the float may include a through slot which allows the control rod to pass therethrough and which helps to reduce the chance of the float hanging due to an accumulation of solids between the control rod and the float. In another aspect a removable and replaceable discharge tube sleeve may be included.
